best thing about this hotel is it's location - in a quite neighberhood not far away from quasan rd., but not too close either. the rooms are old but nice, decorated in simple naive way (bottom half of the walls is covered with wood ) which gives it authentic atmosphere. rooms has air condition, cable T.V (french and english chanells)... Finally, comfortable beds!! Something that is a rarity in Asia. We have become used to beds that are hard as, well, plywood. Nakorn Ping is located near the famous Khao San Road in Bangkok. It's a 4 story hotel with about 50 rooms in a more residential area. The hotel is a bit dated but clean. Our room was large... More

The location is great and it's quiet. We stay here every time we are in Bangkok. The rooms are clean, mattress is comfortable and although the staff are sometimes unfriendly they are usually helpful with luggage and calling a taxi. The prices are affordable. 460Baht for a fan room with cold shower, you can add a hot shower for 100B... More

Came here when almost every bed was booked due to the new year festivities/aqua wars. One day before our stay they told us, reservation would not be necessary so it seemed they had many free rooms. For the price (460 for a double with fan and cold water) it is ok. Clean rooms, comfortable matress, lots of space to put... More

We've been staying at this well-situated hotel for several years and will probably continue to do so when in Bangkok. The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of surfaces for luggage, refrigerator, and good plumbing. There have been improvements and our room (#432) actually had a tiled, self-contained shower stall. The linens are crisp and white but there is... More

This bigger Hotel is 10 walking minutes south of Khao San road is a good address to stay in Bangkok (Banglamphu) Hotel is well organised, offers good Price/ Quality. For Family they also have triple room. Sometimes could be noisy depends of your room neighbours. The Hotel has also a small place to stay outside in front of the lobby.

Since my last visit the rooms got new painting, the bathroom has a fresh look (new toilet and basin), new pillows, new matrass and wireless at top speed with 9 spots to connect !! So wherever you are inside the building there is a 5 star signal. Furniture is still the old one but I like that retro touch. Stairs... More

We found this hotel after a long flight from Sydney. We had already booked in to a cheap hostel up the road which was disgusting so looked around and thankfully found a very helpfull, friendly staff with a nice, clean and good value room at 460 bht. For the price you don't get aircon or hot water but you don't... More

Good sized room with air con and fan for very cheap price. However our shower didn't work, which we paid for, and then when we went down to reception they told us that we hadn't paid for it. We refused to pay for the shower and they did not do anything to reimburse us. Cheap internet and accommodation. Hallways at... More
