hotel is ok but in on wrong side of river to all the attractions. However you can get a water taxi close by that runs up and down the river and will deposit you near the sites. Reception staff were somewhat unfriendly. The room was massive, had a large balcony which over-looked the river. In need of some decoration but... More

We stayed at this hotel in January for one night at the beginning of our tour and for one night at the end. The tour company picked this hotel, as we would not have chosen this property for a number of reasons. Its location is far from the sights and the major shopping area. There is very little to see... Oh boy. Where do I start? My husband and I were booked here by his mother because she said it was near all the attractions. It is near the attractions but on the wrong side of the river. My mother-in-law wanted to pay in cash (it was a gift from her to us) but they wouldn't let her. They initially... More

This place is fine, not great - it's certainly not new and it's on the wrong side of the river from most of the attractions in Bangkok. You can catch the river bus to get to the other side, which is an experience all by itself. But the service is fine, the amenities are fine (but no free wifi -... More

The hotel is a bit early 90s in terms of decor and mod cons. It's too far to walk to anything significant and on "the wrong side of the river" for tourist attractions. Breakfast was good but laundry prices extortionate and comparable to a 5 star which it certainly is not. The pool was closed for renovation which is why... More

Where should I start. I booked this hotel for my parents and had tons of problem with them. First, it took them forever to process the reservation. After 30-45 min of checking in, they put my parents on the 9th floor. Two hours later, they asked my parents to move to the 7th floor because they want to do some... More

Stayed 1 night as a guest of my Thai colleague. Clean, quiet and comfortable room with a view of the river. As this is the flood season, some water from the river had overflowed onto the outdoor terrace on the riverbank. My only request is for complimentary wi-fi to be made available. More

Very remote location, unfriendly staff, took so long to check in and out, limited TV channels. The only good thing is the beautiful river view. More

Guests staying here can be confident that their rooms will be huge and well-kept, with large work desks and equally impressive beds, and that their evenings can either be languidly spent by the pool or on the spacious riverside patio. They can also rest assured that the staff will be polite, if not generally helpful. That being said, why anyone... More
