You get what you pay for, but to be perfectly honest you dont want to be spending all your time in a hotel room when you have the city of Bangkok on your doorstep. Rooms have Aircon, wifi and a TV with a fridge. Cheap rates and right in the centre of KhaoSan road.

Arrived during songkran celebrations. Nightmare as Koh San rd was chock a block with water fighters. Luckily I found a way down a side alley to the hotel. The receptionist charged 100 baht for 24 hours of wifi. Only place in whole of Asia where I had to pay for wifi in the hotel. Bedroom was small. Wouldn't have survived... More

Small rooms, tiny bathroom. The rooms are dark and really old. Staff want to sell you wifi passwords even if its for free. For the two of us they only wanted to give us one password... Silly... This was the only place for weeks that I have seen where they want to charge for wifi... The breakfast is quite nice... More

We stayed 1 night in room G4. Reception staff were ok. Room smelt like cigarettes and must. Found 6+ cockroaches within 2minutes. Dirty sheets/bedding. Toilet had definitely not been cleaned before our arrival! Had read reviews that there were bed bugs, didn't see any, however we slept on top of bedding and sprayed ourselves with deet just in case. Bathroom... More

As our first stop on our trip round Thailand we didn't need much. This hotel has a great location, just off the buzz of Khaosan Road. The rooms are just about clean enough, shower didn't work hot for us, but all the basics are there. Ideal if you're just passing through, not for a luxury Bangkok holiday!

I can't understand how this place has received any positive reviews! Our room was crawling with bedbugs and cockroaches and had blood and all sorts smeared on the walls. We have stayed in some very basic hostels in Asia but this was just disgusting. The bathroom was so small the door could only open half way and it absolutely stunk.... More

The hotel has good AC in a place that you need it! Simple & inexpensive hotel. The place is basically clean, compact and pretty secure. It is located in the heart of backpackers life, KhoaSan Road. It can get noisy from the street fare, but not the hotels fault.

Basic but central hotel. The "early bird" deal worked out at a very reasonable price. Rooms small but clean and comfortable beds. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast very good in pleasant area. Ideal location for busy Kao San Road area but quiet as just off the main road. Easy access to the river and main sights.

Very basic very small (almost not enough space to put the backpacks on the floor and we had the 'big room') and the 'breakfast' is just jam and toast. It's ok for the first two nights in Bangkok. Staff is neither nice nor not nice, they just do their job. If you want to stay some more days in Bangkok... More
