If you get used to stay a modern hotel and expect everything is new intact in hotel , I would not recommend this hotel, but if you have a taste for vintage, this is definitely worth you to spend a few days. Good shuttle service and kindly staff to make up the location that is bit far away form transport station.... More

One of my favourite hotels anywhere in the world. Bizarre decor including huge bugs mounted on a board on the half landing. Outlandish bathroom with a shower like a water cannon and a bath like an oversized, upside down, over used Roman helmet. A bed so high you have to jump down to get out. The best staff anywhere. Great... More

Absolute old world charm.... Colonial elegance which is a far cry from all the newly built 5 star hotels In this amazing city. The service, the comfort and the charm was exactly what you need after a hectic day in the city... Almost an oasis of calm just a stone's throw from the chaos. More

We have stayed at the Rachamanhka in Chiang Mia and were in love with it, I had assumed that all Relais & Chateaux Hotel properties were up to that level. I felt that the rooms were on a par with a youth hostel, the hotel is a 3 floor walk-up, a rack on the wall is your closet, the worn... More

I am very disappointed at the my 3-night stay at this highly reclaimed hotel. While the look of the hotel is very appealing, I really don't understand why the designer did not even think of making the hotel sound-proof. I had to ask the receptionist to change me into another room at 1:00am as the noise of motorcycles and cars... More

Agree with much of what has been said. This is a unique hotel which seeks to recreate a 1930's colonial feel, and does it quite well. But it's superficial and at the expense of attention to detail. The food and the staff are great, really. The bed is 90cm off the ground which for 67 year-olds with dodgy knees is... More

We stayed in The Eugenia Bangkok for 3 days recently, I have to say first this is not your usual hotel, it is located in Sukamvit Bangkok which in my opinion is the nicest area of Bangkok, mainly embassy type expats and upper class Thais, the Eugenia is a throwback to the colonial glory days. The eugenia is located between... More

Excellent hotel, a real find in the busy city. Very unique compared to the generic international chains, a little like being in a museum where you can touch and use everything! Very comfortable couple of days luxury after a couple of weeks roughing it! Highlights; Super comfy 4 poster bed, huge copper bath tub Minor criticisms; lack of communal space... More

Charming villa, smallish pool but very chill. Rooms were spacious, had a great colonial feel. Bed was comfortable. The Eugenia cocktail and the peanuts are enough reason to go. Staff is exceptional. Only negatives - it is really not easy to get to. Figure taxis will get lost 9 times out of 10. Get the hotel to arrange a car... More
