We arrived at just after midnight due to our travel plans not knitting together quite as we expected (as per usual when travelling). We had come from Beijing so the £20 a night for the two of us seemed OK. After travelling Thailand for 3 months I can now see that it was a bit much but hell, we enjoyed... More

Location is a very importand part in Bangkok, and for this - that hostel is located very nicely on the Thong Lo BTS. A place where many expats live in Bangkok. Nearby you have the choice between fancy restaurants at moderate prices or the (real fantastic) streetfood right outside the door at Soi 38. I now live in Bangkok and... More

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Ironing room, free tea and coffee, good wi-fi access is available on all floors, on the first floor a few computers with web camera and nice area for relaxation. Nearby there is a street with Thai food. Where you can find fresh fruit, noodles and more.

HI Sukhumvit loses a half a star for being far from many attractions (not a full one because it's 3 minutes from Thong Lo station) and another half for value. That being said, it's clean, comfortable, well-decorated, next to the best night food stalls, in a safe upscale neighborhood, near many great restaurants and a big movie theater. Remember that... The location is pretty good, steps away from the tram. There is pretty good food on the street at night. The room was pretty bare, but served its purpose. The staff was not helpful, getting any help was a difficult task. The free breakfast was just a few pieces of toast and instant coffee.

Location: Excellent. About 200m from Thong Lo Station, a Post Office is round the corner and just outside the door is one of the most famous street-food streets in the city (Must tries inc. chicken satays, crispy pork and rice and mango and sweet sticky rice) Breakfast: Included. Usual hostel offerings of cereals, toast and hot drinks. Pros: + Good... More

Two things I loved about the location: 1. Extremely short walk to the skytrain 2. Located off a food market street! Hostel itself was decent. There were lockers outside the rooms, where you need a lock, and I found it was hard to find a spare one. Bathrooms were clean, had no problem with the beds. It's not a fancy... More

Rooms were a decent size, bath room and rooms we always very clean, day time staff was friendly and helpful however the night staff during our stay was unhelpful and unfriendly. We learned to save our questions for the day time staff. Location is OK, there is a food market on the street at night, great for the authentic Thai... More

The location in Sukhumvit is really excellent. You are right beside the skytrain and can get a taxi to the main tourist parts. Taxis are relatively cheap, even though traffic is very busy. There are food stalls on the same street as the hostel every night. You can also get cheap fruit shakes. You are also very close to Terminal... More

After four month travelling we stayed here for our last 3 days. For sure it was our most overpriced bad accomodation we stayed. Payed about 35usd and had a bed which is hard as the floor. In front of the window a loud fan. A lamp and four walls, this is the whole room. We asked the stuff to change... More
