An unusual hotel for a city, looks more like a jungle retreat, great rooms, clean, good facilities. The pool was quirky and the outdoor restaurant was excellent - good buffet breakfast, excellent Thai menu for dinner. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us. The location is on the outskirts of the city down a narrow road... More

staff were so nice, great room (deluxe), great price, great pool and outdoor area. breakfast pretty good. the only negative is the location: taxis or tuk-tuks seem to have agreed to charge 100 baht for all trips so it's a bit annoying as you can't walk to places, esp when hot. More

I'd like to say the RFB tried, and have their hearts into it. The facility itself is quite nice, but enclaved within a commercial area that's not a reasonable walking distance to the historic old town. Tuk-tuk is about 10min and 100ish Bhat. The rooms are nice but the photos are likely taken with a wide-angle lens. Restaurant selection is... More

Our first impressions were great, however when you looked a little closer the room was really dirty especially the bathroom and it wasn't cleaned during our 4 night stay. The pool was nice, breakfast was good though lots of flies in the food (hard to avoid with the open setting) the shuttle to the night market was always on time... More

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2012, location a bit far from town down dodgey laneway and construction site next door a bit noisey, great pool and excellent breakfast. 100baht ($3) Tuk Tuk into town and great night markets and excellent restaurants (go to Regina's on hotel side of river, doesnt look much but great food). We found staff very... More

We stayed in the hotel last August whilst travelling around Thailand. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. It is really close to the train station and a member of staff from the hotel collected us from the train station (at around 6am after we travelled from Ayuttaya.) We booked this hotel online a few days before arriving and had an amazing... More

We stayed with our daughters aged 6 & 8. Would probably give it a 3 1/2 rating. Pros *Lovely pool area (bit small but they are building a new bigger pool) *Having the spa on site for a massage (about twice the price of in town but still not bad) *Restaurant open throughout the day (and right beside the pool)... Very quiet hotel, clean and good service. They have a nice pool and a good restaurant where they serve a lovely breakfast. The only comment is that the hotel is quite difficult to find in the daytime and even harder at night. More
