Find yourself in an Agatha Christie novel (the good way), plus great pool. Excellent experience, perfect location, good service, almost difficult to leave the hotel. The plus : airport pick up in a cool 60es mercedes, library/bar. More

We fell in-love with Ping Nakara Hotel! The building itself is beautifully designed with interesting antiques spread throughout the sitting room, library and veranda. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was great where we were able to order anything from the a la carte menu in addition to the buffet. There was turn-down service with fresh... More

Since Seven years I travel in Thailand, this was the first time I slept so well. And this is just among all wonderful details that made our stay so unforgettable. The quality of the staff, the food, the pool every detail has been thought to make your stay a dream. Oh, and don't miss the breakfast, fresh salad, fruits, selection... More

We stayed for two nights in Chiang Mai at the start of our honeymoon and the accommodations at Ping Nakara were perfect. We arrived early expecting to wait for our room but the courteous staff was able to get us in a room within minutes of our arrival. The room was fabulous and although we didn't take advantage, the pool... More

We loved the Ping Nakara! The architecture, the staff, the pool, the beds, everything! Extra firm (really hard!!) beds is the norm in Thailand, most Westerners have a difficult time sleeping, but at the Ping the beds are soft, lush with wonderful sheets and the four posters add an elegant touch. Breakfast each morning was delicious, made to order as... More

The grounds are immaculate and you feel like you are at the oasis. So calm and serene despite being a 5-10 minute walk from the night market. Room was comfortable and "classy" with all necessary amenities. Plus, as you'd expect in Thailand, all of the staff were waiting with a smile and ready to improve your stay More

We once again stayed at this hotel as last time we could not fault it.This time it was at Songkram one of the busiest times of the year and to our surprise it surpassed our last stay. The hotel got into the festive spirt supplying you with water guns, buckets, protective plastic covers for camera's and other valuables as walking around Chiang Mai... This is a very nice place to stay. Other travellers have pointed out the strengths - beautiful building, decor, lovely sitting and pool areas, good restaurant, helpful staff and a great location. The Ping Nakara surpassed my expectations. More

We had no idea what the hotel would be like as our travel agent had booked it and it was a wonderful surprise to be treated so personal and so special. It started with the arrival. You were seated in a lovely area, got a drink and a cold towel. The check-in was all done for you. You were brought... More
