Sabai Garden is an absolutely lovely place to stay, despite all efforts of the owners to sabotage the great thing they've got going. Pros: It is centrally located but quite, and the "cocktail car" directly across the street was especially great. There's also a pretty garden, as the name suggests, where you can sit outside to enjoy breakfast or just... More

The place is a repurposed old teak wood Thai house, only has space for a few guests. Shared bathroom and a ceiling fan for cooling, but, it`s the sort of experience I wanted. Super friendly and cozy and a pleasure to stay there. Great atmosphere, great price and great location.

When I went out from the Sabai Garden, the owner asked me to leave the lock open so the staff could clean my room easily. I said OK and did so. After I came back, I found the room still unlocked after 12 hours of my absence. They use padlocks so everyone there was able to see my room was unlocked.... More

It is a very beautiful traditional thai house with 5-6 rooms and shared bathroom; it looked like the owner's family old house with a lot of thai culture on display. the garden is amazing and very peaceful and the owner is extremaly nice...so nice she let us keeping our... I came into town late and my first choice from the travel book was full; I'm glad though I stayed here instead. It is an authentic Thai teak wood house - very atmospheric and cozy. They even provided bathrobes, and there are lots of other nice touches in the room that make you feel at home. The owner is super-friendly... More

I stayed at the Sabai Garden for 4 nights at the end of September/beginning of October. My room was huge and had everything I could need (including PJs, dressing gowns, mozzie repellent, TV and DVD player and ear plugs!). The staff are super-welcoming, the breakfast (costs extra) was lovely and the atmosphere, despite being in a quite central location, very... More
