We had an excellent stay in the Holiday inn. The room was very spacious and clean with big windows overlooking the river. Staff at reception were always happy to help. The location was fine, although everything is a taxi or tuk-tuk ride away. The breakfast was great, catering for all tastes and was always hot and fresh. More

Extremely great value and one I the best holiday inns I've stayed at! Get the breakfast buffet for sure as their French toast is amazing! I was part of the points program (free to sign up for) so we got some perks. Got a free upgrade to a huge suite (it was gigantic) , food discount at their restaurant, free... More

This hotel used to be a rather grand Westin, a bit aged, but still with the rich wood to give the aura of the tropics... Nice hotel, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, the rooms are quite large. Everything to see is a car ride or tuk-tuk away, they do have a shuttle to the night market area. I would go back... More

The good: Location - walking distance to a night food market. The room was clean, large, and provided great views of the river and city. The gym is really good and they have a personal trainer. Staff really good and friendly. The restaurant is nice - buffet style. Close to great attractions like Muay Thai fights and night bazaar. Use... More

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn twice -- once in 2008, then again this April 2012. Both stays were quite pleasant. The hotel is very comfortable and has quite a few amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a just a little dated, but not too bad. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms and lobby... More

The hotel is older and the rooms could use some refurbishing. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable but the furnishings were a bit old and tired looking and there were some stains on the carpet. The breakfast buffet was sufficient with lots of variety and very pleasant seating overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and helpful but... This hotel is located a little away from the city center but it was a cheap tuk-tuk ride into town. The hotel is older and the rooms could use some refurbishing. Our room was huge and clean and the bed was very comfortable but the furnishings were a bit old and tired looking and there were some stains on the... More

This is the second time we have stayed at the Holiday Inn. The first time was in 2008. Although the hotel is a little older, the customer service is still fantastic. The rooms are large with a 'pillow menu'. The buffet breakfast is awesome. The hotel is located a short distance from the town square - it is too far... More

The location of this hotel is a bit off town however if you have a car or a motorbike I would like to recommend this hotel. I and my family stayed at Holiday Inn Chiangmai during Songkran Festival, and we booked a room via priorityclub.com (no cost to apply). We paid about 1,500 baht++ (50 USD) for a superior room... We stayed here in April and had a wonderful experience! The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the staff was more than helpful! Although the lobby is renovated the rooms we stayed in could definitely use a make over starting with the carpet. One room had stains everywhere and the other smelled awful. We called the front desk and... More
