The Imperial Mae Ping was a great place to stay for our first trip to Chiang Mai. Price is reasonable and rooms are reasonable we got just the superior room - a little old and could do with a refurb but still good. Bathrooms are great - very tidy. Thing I liked most about this place was its located and... More

I liked the rooms and the whole ambience of it. Massage, barber and tailor just next to the hotel. Walk to night market. Good quality guests. Security staff prominent which is good. The downside is probably the breakfast cos the coffee house is a little dated and the spread not very good. For some strange reason the guy making fresh... More

This was our second stay at this hotel, the first being about 10 years ago. We were happy with the hotel and so chose to stay there again this time. Good 3-4 star hotel. Good amenities and good standard of room and cleanliness. Really good selection of foods for breakfast. We liked this hotel and it is quite close to... More

We had an excellent welcome with live band and traditional flower garlands. The stay was comfortable but rooms not classy enough. The hotel is old and well maintained bur does not compare enough with the new swankier ones. The breakfast was good and had a wide spread. The place is within walking distance from night market. They have a nice... More

My friend and I arrived here from Bangkok and are heading to Koi Samui. We were here for 4 nights and honestly tried to leave after the second night. We had little bugs crawling all over our bathroom, tub and in our safe. We requested the staff deal with the problem and they thought we were crazy. They said they... More

After traveling through northern Thailand, this hotel was a pleasant bit of luxury after a few nights of more rustic accommodation. Hotel staff were pleasant and were able to handle every request with a smile. Rooms were quiet and comfortable despite the hotel being full. The two pools allow you to find a quiet place in the sun and in... More

Very elegant and comfortable place to stay. The hotel is getting old but is well kept and the rooms are very plain but nice and clean. Nice pool and the breakfast buffet is fantastic.
