Seven small (and not so small) rooms nestled in a small garden overlooking a small Soi. Everything is small at the Banjai Garden except for the grand welcome to match your great expectations. We've been told that "To try it is to adopt it" and we tend to believe what we're being told.

We stayed for 5 days as a family with 3 rooms. Great place to stay. We celebrated a milestone birthday there and absolutely loved it - 10/10 for value for money - Rooms are clean with required amenities - Common areas boast a community garden with tables and chairs, a small pond with fish and a cute young cat - incredible owners and hosts Franck & Eat. Franck helped us with the best plans and places to go based on what we wanted to do. Eat cooked us a delicious birthday feast for the family at their restaurant down the street - Good central location - Reliable laundry with a one day turn around at reasonable extra cost

Property's Favourite Review
The location is quite convenient to walk around, just less than 10min from the Sunday night market. The room was very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, and the Thai style house and its garden were beautiful. The owner was dry friendly and helpful and he helped us organizing our activities in Chiang Mai, which made it most unusual. Breakfast was available for a fair price. Highly recommended!

Franck’s guesthouse is simply amazing. First of all, everything is beautifully decorated and clean, from the room to the common areas, without forgetting the garden, which is a real treasure amidst the inner city. The accomodation benefits from an amazing location, in the heart of old Chiand Mai with attractions and food options nearby, namely a great nightmarket 5 min away by foot. However, I think that the best part remains the owner, Franck, and his wife Eat. They will do everything they can to make you feel at home and give you ideas of things to do. We have booked a great 2-day trek through them and they also helped us book our tickets to leave the city. Do not forget to visit their newly opened restaurant/bar, which offers tasty options (thai and western cuisine) and is also a nice place to enjoy a few beers. Franck is French and Eat Thai and they both speak English, so the communication is always easy. If you are looking for an authentic yet very confortable option with more than nice owners, this is the place to go.

We loved the hotel and especially the people who offer the best service in the world, lovely smiles, grace, poise and charm that is matchless. Perfect! Rooms were extremely clean, the garden was so beautiful, well taken care of. For your kind hospitality and the stay at your hotel was the ‘height’ of our tour. I wish all hotels in Thailand would have the same staff and willingness to receive guess so kindly as you did. For me it is clear that all my customers will choose your guest house when visiting Thailand.

We spent the most wonderful 3 weeks at Benjai Garden Guesthouse. The guesthouse is very comfy, beautifully furnished and clean. Also it is located in the old town and every thing you need (massage, good restaurants, temples, groceries, laundry, you name it) is very close. The owner, It and Franck, provide yummy breakfast and also plan wunderful trips and experiences for you. It and Franck are the kindest and most friendly hosts, who really made us feel at home. They treated our little son just like family and we couldn’t be more happy to have choose the Benjai garden guesthouse for our time at chiang mai. Thank you very much for having us and see you defensively again! V, J & J

We had a relaxing stay at Banjai Garden. It has a good location in the old townn. Franck and Eat are very nice hosts and are always available to gibt answers . Even special requests like a vegan breakfast were no problem. I can only recommend it!

A quaint, calm guesthouse with very comfortable rooms. We had a wonderdul stay in Chiang Mai thanks to the guesthouse's proximity to many beautiful and interesting places in the city center. Frank's great hospitality made us feel at home and his suggestions for activities really helped us make the most of our trip. Franck, when we'll come back to Chang Mai, we'll definitly stay in Banjaj Garden again, Ben & Kim

Our stay at Banjai Garden absolutely made our trip to Chiang Mai. The place is a little oasis in the heart of the Old City, walkable to everything. The rooms are not ostentatious but are impeccably clean and have everything you need for a perfectly comfortable stay. Franck was incredible—from a quick reply, to a warm welcome, to easily arranging any excursion we wanted with no pressure, to making sure we had breakfast or anything else we needed—we left feeling like we’d stayed with a friend. Absolutely recommend!!
