This hotel looks like staying in house with pool view in open air. There is cozy area including breakfast area with vintage decoration with handcrafts displaying inthe cupboards. Room is also furnished with wood furniture and view of pool from the balcony or pool access. There is also free transfer only ftom hotel to airport, just only book in advance at time of checkin.

My gal pal and I recently had the great pleasure of meeting up for a spa/yoga holiday and decided upon Ban Sabai. #1- The owners are 100% on top of making sure that guests are well cared for. They were there, onsite, for anything that we needed- included being driven into town to visit a shopping mall. #2- The yoga instructor is top notch. I've practiced since the late 1980s and this gentleman knows how to teach a great class. My friend and I did both a morning and evening class with him each day. It was challenging but not insane. #3- Between the morning and evening yoga classes, we had spa services. The 2 spa gals are superb. We had everything from facials to different types of massages. #4- Breakfast- OMG. I don't know who makes it, but the jams & spreads are out of this world. The fruits served everyday are absolutely delicious, and the owners are (again) onsite to prepare eggs or anything else requested. #5- The pool area is lovely. We didn't sit around the pool, but I can see myself having a cocktail or two there for sure. #6- Spacious Rooms with comfy beds. The bathroom was a bit tired, but other than that- all good. Nice Big windows overlooking the lush green landscaping. #7- The price for what we got was UNBELIEVABLE. We were both astonished at how little this holiday cost for what we received. Both of us agreed that we should make this an annual holiday.

My husband and I just spent 6 days at the wonderful Ban Sabai Village and it definitely was a retreat. The owners treated us like family!! Yoga started at 7:15 after being delivered a warm healthy tea. The breakfasts were yummy, but the day just began. We had wonderful treatments such as Couples Massage, reflexology, Herbal massages, Salt and herb scrubs, facials (best facial I have ever had). We loved the steam herbal tent so much that the sweet owners went out and bought one for us with all the herbs and packaged it up for our trip back to the US. I have already hung it and used it. Love it. The lunches and dinners were so good, we did not want to go into the city. There is a free shuttle to the city which we used and Grab for the return back. Be sure and download the app Grab when you arrive in Thailand for we used it to go everywhere. They also arranged a car for our arrival and departure. Each day was more special than the previous one. We also enjoyed just resting by the pool and being away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. We will definitely return with friends for a retreat!!!!

My husband and I we came especially on Ban Sabai Resort at the beginning of our holiday to relax and detox before continuing our journey in Laos. We have been there 4 years ago and we had such good memories that we decide to come back! Rooms are situated in the middle of the tropical forest with a refreshing swimming pool but at few km from Chang Mai historical centre. Food is really delicious and healthy. Managed directly by the owners, we had a course of Thai cuisine learning how to combine local ingredients with the one that we can find in Europe in order to reproduce them at home. We recommend also to book 2 hours massage with very professional personnel. Navette for the airport is for free and the owners also shown us some temples and areas of the daily Thai life very special!! We strongly recommend Ban Sabai for a romantic and relaxing stay!

We, my partner and I, arrived late in the evening in Chiang Mai after a looong flight from Sweden. The transfer to the hotel was pleasant and as we were going there we asked the driver if there was any place nearby the hotel we could eat, the driver called the owner of the hotel & she asked what we wanted for dinner. When we arrived she'd cooked for us herself & the staff were SO welcoming!! We felt so taken care of from a long flight, arriving late. This was our first impression of Ban Sabai and it ended with us staying there for a week and thereafter 3 whole weeks in Ban Sabai in Koh Samui! The environment and the vibe of Ban Sabai is calm, so much (!!) nature and truly relaxing. You'll feel like Home. The staff & Chitra (owner, see pic) treated us SO well, they always did the little extra and we sure REALLY appreciated it! So helpful, kind & service-minded. If you're after a calm, relaxing & quiet place to stay in Chiang Mai - I truly recommend Ban Sabai Village 👌🌟🍍

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ban Sabai, yet I will try...it was an amazing, home-style, retreat with the loveliest people. There were so many sincere personal touches I went to a Yoga retreat at Ban Sabai and everything was top notch. Beginning with all my pre-trip email questions, which were answered quickly and continuing throughout the stay, I was so lovingly taken care of. Our flight came in very late and we were greeted with our scheduled herbal bath with beautiful flowers along the side of the tub. It was like going to a long-lost relative’s house and being greeted by your cousins - so friendly from the first moment. Each morning began with a warm lemon water delivered to my door as a gentle wake up call before yoga. The yoga classes were in a beautiful outdoor setting and the husband and wife yoga teachers gave thoughtful and fun classes. Namaste in your heart! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were scrumptious! Oh my, beautiful and so yummy. Lots of fruit and vegetables and wonderful flavors. The house jellies were really delicious. The beautiful grounds look as good as the food tastes. It’s a small area, yet feels large because of the dense foliage from all the tropical plants and flowers. It’s like staying in a botanical garden! I had massages each day in an outside pavilion. I heard birds, roosters, and rustling breezes in the btrees while getting Thai massage, aromatherapy, scrub, facial, and even a midnight herbal massage. The masseuse was so kind and delightful. My room was large, comfortable, well cleaned, and well stocked. The staff helped get transportation when we needed it and advised us of how much we should expect to pay for a return trip.

Hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle, the whole environment was set in a beautiful tropical garden, antiques and decors in every corner was fabulous. Of course mosquitoes can never be avoided around thailand. Breakfast was freshly cooked by portion, a variety of handmade jam by their own farm. Extremely helpful staff to arrange daily activities and transportation. Wish I could stay longer!

I stayed here to learn aroma oil therapy and facial massage. I'm so glad I did. It was a great learning opportunity. Training was private (one-on-one). There was a slight mix up regarding which class I booked but I was immediately accommodated. I highly recommend classes to anyone seeking to learn the massages taught. Regarding the accommodations, I was a bit concerned as the driver turned to the road leading in. I stayed in other cities and expected something different, a walkable location where I can venture out for food and shopping. Shuttle service is available everyone night at 6pm but I'm traveling alone and didn't want to leave at night. Nevertheless, I didn't leave the property and enjoyed the accommodations and food offered. My room was very clean and presentable. The bed is very very firm. The grounds are picturesque and relaxing. Feedback I would recommend is to focus a bit more on "detailed cleaning." For example, the curtains in my room were stained and in need of washing. The mosquito net may need washing as well. The shower area could use either grout cleaning or new grout. The gym had lots of spider webs. There were lots of leaves in the pull upon my arrival. The shower head should be soaked in vinegar to produce more spray or replaced. All in all, the massage classes exceeded my expectations and I was pleased with staying at the resort. The staff is very nice and attentive.

If you are looking for the place that close to the nature. I would recommend this hidden place to stay in chiang mai. A place I can enjoy an atmosphere of tropical garden and non-toxic. Also the room was very clean, comfortable and the service was really wonderful and warm welcome from the staff. A spa course is also a must try! And yet, do not miss the healthy Thai cuisine. It was such a great long holiday vacation.

This resort is a one stop destination for anyone longing a vacation. With the best retreat facilities to an ambience that brings you close to your soul, this resort has everything one would need to give yourself a break from a regular stressful life. The rooms are spacious and has a certain quirky style to its interiors. This is a lovely family-run business with outstanding services. The entire property has the traditional "Thai" feel imbibed beautifully. The outdoor location of Ban Sabai village resort has a pool with lush green surrounds and I couldn't stop myself to sit here and paint. Close your eyes and you’ll hear the sound of flowing water, humming of birds and insects, rustling leaves and wind whispering through the bamboo trees. The Tropical village-inspired enclave has a rustic vibe that makes you feel like you just landed in a tropical garden. Thank you team @bansabai for the warm hospitality.
