If you want to have the best experience in Chiang Mai, I would recommend staying at Rimping village. The service is absolutely exceptional, the rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, the service is beyond reproach, but what really makes it the best is the staff, especially Tommy and Nut. It was my birthday while I stayed here and I was... More

Stayed here from 17-20 May 2012. The place and service were simply excellent, despite the 10 minute walk to the night bazaar area. Whatever you read here was so true. Just to add some details, such as the moment you alight your tuk-tuk or taxi, they are there to greet you with your room key. The moment you walk into... More

This quiet and relatively small hotel is a great place to stay in Chiang Mai. It's a bit of a trek to the city center, but it's nice that it's so quite and secluded. We walked to the city center once or twice and tuk tuks are easily accessible and cheap so it's not difficult to get there even if... More

We spent 5 nights here. This was our 3 rd trip to Chiang Mai and decided to stay here after reading the trip advisor reviews which were spot on. Really lovely small hotel. As with all of the other reviews can not find fault here. The rooms though basic are spotlessly clean as with the grounds and the pool. Free... More

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located slightly out of town, the other side of the river but not to far from the night market. We were a bit disappointed when we discovered this, but actually it was not a problem at all. The hotel has free hire bikes which are really useful and it doesn't take... More

Couldn't fault Rimping village at all. Attention to details, friendliness courteous and very helpful staff at Rimping village! Got free pick up and drop off to and from airport in a luxirious Mercedes vito courtesy of the hotel. Breakfast was of excellent quality. Great location, very short stroll to the night market, well worthed a visit. Special mention to Ing... More

On the whole this hotel is average. What made my stay great were the staff, they were fantastic. I found that all had a smile on their face and did they're best to provide a quality service. This is everyone, reception, resturant staff, cleaners, gardners, all of them. Late one evening after and all day tour I asked reception where... More

This is a very nice small resort probably a 3-4 star facility. Nice, clean but nothing really fancy. However the staff are a 10 plus- I have stayed at the raffles in Singapore and I would say the rimpling staff are as good or better at customer service. Fruit in your room each day, suggest and make tour arrangements, arrange... More

The location is like an oasis . . . rooms were immaculate, and the staff is incredibly helpful and delightful. It is a short walk away from the night bazaar. Granted, you're not right in the middle of the old city, but you also don't have the crowds that go along with that. I love to walk, so I found... More
