We chose the hotel as it was in the Old City and was a reasonable price and because of recent Trip Advisor Reviews. We had a long stay package of 5 nights and it included bicycles each day and two meals in the restaurant. Very good value and we would definately come back again and recommend the hotel. The staff... This was our first trip to Chiang Mai and we couldn’t have booked a better place to stay. The exterior of the hotel was uninspiring but once you go through the big wooden doors you enter a sanctuary of calm in a busy, noisy city. Our room was lovely with whitewashed walls and dark timber floors and windows with a... More

Our experience at the Bhodi Serene was terrific. The accommodations are spacious and this boutique hotel provides a feeling of being away from the busyness of the city in a tropical environment. Our room was close enough to the pool on the second floor on the inner courtyard and there was never a concern with noise from the street. The... More

We stayed at the Bodhi Serene for a total of six nights in early March, ‘12 – three before a two-night stay in Chiang Dao and three more after our return. We liked it very much and highly recommend it for a smaller boutique hotel in the old city. It is located a few blocks from one of the night... More

This hotel was really really good. The staff was very helpfull and welcoming. The rooms are very big and the standard is very high. The breakfast was very nice and inkluded thai and continental meals. The pool was not that big but definetly nice. This hotel is located 10 min walk from Thaepae gate and the street markets. Well we are back again at the Bodhi Serene in Chiang Mai. For those of you who have not read my previous reports about the Bodhi, here is a brief account of our stays here. In 2008 we stayed in this hotel for nearly 7 months, we booked in for a day, when travelling the world, with our daughter Molly,... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. If you want a big hotel with a four-star restaurant, huge pool, spas, etc. this is not the place for you. The hotel is clean, very friendly and good value. We did not realize that we were going to be in the "backpackers" area, but it turned out that there were... More

Bodhi Serene Hotel is a boutique Hotel (35 rooms) in the heart of the Old City. Great location, as pretty much everything is walking distance. if you don't feel like walking or it it's too hot, the tuk tuks are a very reasonable and fast way of getting around. Hotel is a lovely, wonderful, serene little gem in the middle... More
