After three visits to Hanoi we have finally found our permanent hotel. The Artison is a small simple and confortable hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. It is in a great location but what makes it special is its wonderful staff. Ning and the other staff members made us feel right at home. Nothing was ever too much... More

We recently spent a week at The Artisan. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful at all times. They organised taxis, tours and cooking classes without fuss. There are two reasons I really liked staying at The Artisan. Firstly its location. The lake and the shopping streets are literally around the... More

My family stayed here for almost two weeks while they were here for my wedding. Right from walking in to make the booking the staff made me feel at home. They were all very helpful and looked after any problems quickly and efficiently. The rooms are very simple but nice and we will definitely use their services again in the... More

Small hotel, with okay rooms, were a little on the tired side, bathroom was odd, a little window that opened up into the middle of the building and if you didn't close it, people would see in. Ask for a floor high up, to be away from the street noise, thought it was pretty quiet later in the night. Early... More

I stayed at this beautiful hotel from 13 to 18 April and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms very comfortable and impeccably clean. I had a balcony room on the 6th floor and it was not noisy at all. It is located in a great little street right in the midst... More

The staff were superb. I read some really good reviews on booking.com prior to booking and thought they were too good to be true, but not at all. Great little hotel in the middle of the Old Quarters, fantastic and friendly staff, clean and great value for money. All is good, good, good, please do yourself a favour and stay... More

We had a room ending in 1 and it had to be the quietest retreat available from the noise and pollution that is Ha Noi. The staff are friendly and answer all types of questions about living in there. Breakfast at the cafe is fun when you sit on the balcony and watch the early street life in action. Try... More

We didn't want to stay in another hotel so we found the Artisan. Told them of our problems and were shown a front facing room with a balcony. Yep we'll be back to check in. We arrived, the door was opened for us, checked in very quickly and were taken up to the penthouse for one night at no extra... More

The Artisan Boutique Hotel in Hang Hanh St in the Old Quarter is actually owned by Australians. My most recent visit for 10 nights in March 2013, was equally as pleasant as when I stayed there a couple of years ago under different name and owner. The best part about the place is that the staff know you by name... More
