While I was in Hanoi late last year my husband and I syayed at the Liberty Hotel in Hang Non street Hanoi. At first we were a little apprehensive because it was so cheap, but our options were limited. As it turned out, it was a great move, the staff were ever so friendly, spoke very good English and couldn't do... More

We got there late, since we had to wait 1h at the airport for our hotel pick up, which we had confirmed twice (we also had to call them twice until anything happened). We got a room just under the roof, which looked like the storage for overbooked guests: The room was small, had no aircon, no fan, no safety... More

Noisy, small, old, smelly and with dirty sheets. We left this place As soon as we could. We reserved a standard room, and it was on the first floor. Windows are old and made of wood, so you fell like in the street. Air con had a horrible smell, and bed dressing was not clean. The room was so small... More

A friend and I stayed here two separate nights and booked our Halong Bay two day trip through them. It's a very basic hotel in the middle of the old quarter but was just what we needed. We were easily able to walk to many of the attractions and of course there are many places to eat close by. We... More

I accept there is mold in a humid country, but it can be cleaned, it didnt look like our room had been cleaned since their pro photos were taken. The room where you eat breakfast is crampt, and is the kitchen itself. It was dirty and dingy. The rest of the hotel is similarly crampt and in need of a... More

When we arrived the taxi drove off with our change so the guys on reception ran down the road after the taxi and got our money back! What a great welcome to the hotel. My friend and I had prebooked a room, but had shared the taxi with 2 other people, who the staff found a spare room for. The... More

We booked this hotel on a booking site so would have moved if we could. When we arrived the staff (couple of young guys) were really friendly and we were given a room on the first floor. The walls and sheets had a couple of stains but I've seen worse. The problems started that night when we went to sleep... More

Close to train station and all attractions of Old quarter this hotel has it all. We did not stay for long but we were coming back several times after we checked out to leave our luggage in between next trips and as always staff was so helpful with booking on taxis (thanks to them we avoided paying to much), train...
