Sofitel metropole is beyond superb - well located, small but cosy bedrooms, par excellence service, we were thoroughly spoiled there especially since we were traveling with a 2 yr old. The hotel is just beautiful. We stayed in the opera wing.

This is a wonderful hotel in Hanoi ... I only stayed for one night, but it was beautiful with a colonial feel ... first class customer service ...lovely rooms, restaurant, pool and shop. Really special and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Once you set foot in the property, Marguerite Duras and Somerset Maugham spirits surround you and you feel like writing again. Wonderful accomodations make the stay even more enjoyable. The Vietnamese restaurant was a little disappointing, lagging behing in innovation.

I absolutely love this hotel. Beautiful historic building, amazing service, exceptional food, good value. Every detail thought of. A relaxing haven in the middle of the bustling city of Hanoi. Could not fault it in any way.

This extreme elegant hotel combined with French styles and local favor, express a fancinated fashion in different views in various bars, restaurants and rooms.
