This hotel was really above our remit for 6 weeks in Vietnam but because of the special price and warnings about scam hotels and taxi drivers, we decided to splurge out for our first night. Everything was wonderful. The pick up from the airport was trouble free. Staff the next morning were very helpful showing the way to the market... More

We spent 4 nights in a deluxe room with room. Room size is more than adequate, clean, with all necessary amenities you might need including safe and refrig. Ironing may be an issue for some, as room is without iron & board. But that is fairly normal in 3-4 stars or less due to fire issues. Only problem with room... More

It's our 4th time in Saigon and I believe this is one of the best hotel in terms of value. The room is spacious, clean, with amenities rivaling four star hotel. Reception, bell boys and all the restaurants crew were very accommodating and helpful. Location is within walking distance to Ben Than market and if you just walk to the... More

A good location, 5 min walk from night market. A bit noisy. Breakfast area felt like a marketing site for the locals who were enthusiatically discussing Amway products I felt like was the only tourist the Overall ok, but uninspiring

My family and I enjoyed our stay here, a Japanese-established hotel. The breakfast served was good and the staff friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, well-equipped with TV, air-con, water heater, towels (including bath robes!), toiletries (include body gel, shampoo, toothbrush, comb, vetc), fridge, safebox, etc. It is situated at a good location, having Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square, Reunification... I chose this hotel because even with few reviews it was brand new and a good location. Well priced $65 for a triple and $50 for double. Staff over all was friendly, particularly the porters, but some of the front desk staff was a bit arrogant and not helpful. The restaurant across the street can get really noisy at night.... More

I am writing this review in my room at the Truong Hai Hotel during a break from the Saigon heat and humidity. The room is perfectly pleasant - clean, nothing grimy, spacious enough for one or two people. The mattress is Chinese style - i.e, very hard. Large bathroom, too. The internet connection is a bit hokey... I get 2... More
