My partner and I came to stay here at late notice and just wanted a decent clean and safe space to leave our bags, wash and rest up after exhausting journey over from Europe.
Instead we entered into a hamster box of a room which reaked of old tabacco and mould - from the airconditioners and lack of windows that...

From arrival to leaving, it was the service at this hotel which was a stand out! The staff couldn't do enough for us. The location is also a bonus as it is an easy walk to BinThan markets and the many restaurants in the backpacker area where you can find authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices as well as...

Stayed two times before, and really wasn’t looking forward to returning (it’s our company-preferred hotel). My feelings from last time are exactly the same, with some minor updates.
The breakfast has gotten worse… the Vietnamese food was bland and tasteless (not at all like it should be!) and the waffles were cold. Was there for three mornings and only ate...

And I mean no WIFI anywhere in the hotel apart from the lobby (the breakfast room is close to the lobby but no reception there). Wired pay-for conection in the rooms. With an Ipad, this means no internet in rooms.
This is the only reason why I wouldn't go back to this hotel. The deco is a bit dated but...

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. There are many good things about The New World Saigon – it’s in a very good location, right next to the big market and just a short walk to the night life. It has a very lovely pool and surrounding area which was being well used when we stayed in March. The...

The hotel is located in a great part of the city with the main city sites in walking distance. Note that some of these close from 11 to 2pm so make sure that you plan your visits The room was a good size and very well insulated from the street noise. We felt that the room was expensive especially considering...

This is a very impressive hotel.. However, you really do pay through the nose for anything extra. All prices marked in menus for drinks and food have 16% added to them for tax and service. Therefore a local beer cn cost four times more than in the next establishment!
I was also amazed there was only wifi in public areas....
