Liberty 4 is located right across from a park,restaurants and shops. Clean affordable close to everything. Nothing too fancy but has everything that counts. Including free WIFI. Night club on the 1st floor and a relaxation centre. Its clean quite and everything works. I have no hesitation on recommending this hotel for any travellers including families. Liberty hotels are run by government. And I expect are all of a similar standard.

We returned to this hotel because of the friendliness and the excellent location, and again the staff were so helpful. in between our stay here we were able to leave luggage in their storage room for 8 days while we took off to explore other places, we will return again next year. Only down is the breakfast food is cold.

This hotel is in the backpacker area, there is a square of bars and restaurants and the usual shops selling souvenirs. I upgraded to a suite and this was a nice room, good size and clean. Good location based in the tourist area of HCM. Plenty of tour guides and booking offices near by. Good food and bars on the doorstep but with them come the touts. Woken early by the band practicing for Tet celebrations, not too sure if this is a regular occurrence or just for the new year.
