This is perfect little local hotel for a few days in Saigon. It is not classy but it is clean and rooms are big and well appointed. The beds are clean and comfortable and the service is good. Not all staff speak English but they are all helpful. Breakfast is not extensive but addequite. The room rate is good and... More

The first room we were given had a terrible smell. The next room was very small and noisy. The message here is ask to see the room before moving in. On the credit side the location was great, we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to see. Breakfast was very good. The staff were not... More

The Asian Hotel won't appeal to all travellers. It's probably a 3 star hotel at best, things are a bit frayed around the edges and at night you can hear a disco somewhere in the vicinity. But we liked it! 5 star hotels are the same all over the world - you could be anywhere. Staying at the Asian you... More

Great location , but they squashed us into the tiniest room with 3 people--we couldn't move. Light key was faulty and our lights and power flicked on and off all day. Desperately needs an upgrade. Would pay a little bit extra for better accomodation next time. More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location is Great, right in Downtown and next to the Intercontinental Hotel. The rooms are just what you expect for a 50.00 usd per night hotel. Just average but clean which is what I was looking for. I would say that it is a good value for your money in the... More

Overpriced in "off season" - NOT good value. Rate not negotiable. Not prepared to stay more than one night - moved to another hotel. Management quite unreasonable about cancellation. Room very ordinary - reeked of cigarette smoke, and tired. Central position good, but there are so many other excellent hotels equally central. Breakfast just OK. Would not recommend. More

This hotel is perfectly placed for anyone who needs somewhere central yet reasonably priced. Of course one would not expect all the trimmings but then we were not paying USD 150 upwards per night. Located right on Dong Khoi, we had easy access to a supermarket next door, all the boutiques, tailors and shops within a stone's throw from us.... More
