Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very clean but small. The roof jacuzzi was refreshing after a long day touring the city. The location was great, appeared to be close to everything. Food was a little expensive but good. Staff were friendly, but I believe most Cambodians are lovely. They really appreciate the chance to have a chat... More

I didn't do any booking, just walked in when I arrived to Phnom Penh. It took the receptionist around 15 mins to deal with his problems until I got ANY attention. I only said 'Hello' when a couple of backpackers walked by and he just turned away and started talking to them, saying there's only one room available, but the... More

Great common areas, particularly the bar on the ground floor & very friendly & efficient staff (particularly Leia, the owner). The small pool is a great place to unwind with a drink at the end of a hot Cambodian day. Highly recommended!

I had a couple of problems that could have been handled better. I booked for a whole week but was put in the room furthest from entrance, on the fifth floor with no elevator. To make matters worse it was next to a service room with constant noise. I was told no other room available. Next day new room new... More

This hotel seems to get very mixed reviews but ours was a positive experience. Our room, a twin with two large beds, was on the 3rd floor. Not big, but perfectly adequate and with a good bathroom. A large wardrobe with penty of storage too. There was also a drawer and cupboard which could be locked - useful for things... More

My recent stay at Number 9 was pleasant enough. The young Khmer staff bent over backwards to give me decent service and the atmosphere is cozy and contemporary at the same time. What I unfortunately feel I must warn people about is the presence of bed bugs. My last night that I stayed at Number 9 in room number 401... More

Number 9 Hotel is located on a quiet street very close to the Palace, together with a few more guesthouses and restaurants. It's also walking distance to the riverfront bars and restaurants (10-15 minutes) or a 1-2 $ dollar tuk-tuk ride, easy to get one, they'll jump on you the moment you step out. Compared to the other guesthouses on... More
