“What a service!”

This is a nice, charming old hotel. Rooms are not very big but they are nice and very well equipped. Food is also very good. But above all, staff is very friendly and service is personalized and yet very discreet! Overall, a unique experience in a great service-oriented hotel!

“Great charming hotel”

Nice colonial style, clean and without any complain. The rooms were large and very reminiscent of an old colonial hotel. It was easy to imagine the journalists in the Elephant Bar during the Vietnam War. The pools were our favorite spot to relax after a long, hot day in the city and breakfasts were very nice also.

“Fabulous old world colonial hotel”

The hotel was built in 1926 by the French. And restored after the Pol Pot regime was kicked out by the Vietnamese. It retains all the old colonial charm. The rooms are large with very high ceilings. The bars and other rooms are impressive with antique cabinets spread throughout the hallways and rooms. Fabulous place.

“Fit for Royalty - or jut the average person wanting a treat.”

“Loved it, but would give Elephant Bar a miss”

We can't really fault this hotel with just one exception - the Elephant Bar which was lightless and soulless. Otherwise comfy rooms, wonderful pool and of course that exceptional Cambodian hospitality. It has a bit of a corporate feel but then it's a city-centre hotel so that's to be expected.
