We had a really clean room and were overall happy. Aircon, flat screen TV and hot water. Great location close to the river. But I didn't sleep well because of the stone hard pillows and the blanket. This blanket was made from a kind of plastic fabric. It didn't keep warm and was difficult with two person. So I had... More

Excellent location, close to an array of quality restaurants/bars and with its own restaurant downstairs offering authentic, cheap food. Our room came with a bathroom that smelled of cauliflower (water pollution in PP), a very cold fridge and both a/c (which grew progressively warmer each day) and a fan. The staff are not that friendly, but they speak English well... More

Title says it all. The hotel has a lot of floors and so a lot of stairs. A good thing to consider before choosing this hotel. Besides that it is a lovely place.

They took care of everything for us from booking our tours around phnom penh to our visas for vietnam. the rooms were simple but clean and a good price. The location was also fantastic as it was right across the street from the national museum and the palace and really close to the river road where there are tons of... More

The Bright Lotus Restaurant is one of the best restaurants I enjoyed eating in Phnom Penh. The variety of food is exceptional and the prices are unbelievingly economical. The noodle and rice dishes are equally good and tasty. I will recommend the Chiken Pho soup. Dont forget to add the sauces and use the other green vegetables they serve to... More

We believed that we had a good reservation but apparently when we arrived at the hotel there was no reservation hold for us and the hotel was full. We had to find another place at the last minute without any help from the Bright House. I do not recommend at all this unfriendly hotel. No do try to book. If... More

This hotel is showing signs of age but is value for money. It is well located near restaurants and a very short walk to the Mekong. What made it for me was the friendly staff and their professionalism when advising on or arranging my travel needs.

Ithas a great view for sure. It is simple and clean except for the mildew in the bathroom. My only comlaint is that there are all these tiny lizards hanging out in the stairwell. They kinda freak me out a little but there are none in the rooms I don't think. Is this Normal? I don't know.

I stayed at the bright lotus for close to one month whilst working in PP. The service is friendly and there were numerous times staff went out of their way to help me out , with phone calls to Thailand and Vietnam and opening a jammed suitcase. The room is very basic and not the kind of decor I would... More

The good thing is the location is pretty close to the National Museum and the Royal Palace but it's so much noisy at night.
