Our room was large but needed decorating and some remedial work done - there was bare plaster in the bathroom! Breakfast was poor, management was rather disinterested. A pity as the hotle had real possibilities and could have been very nice. More

The room was very spacious and the staff at this hotel were very helpful. Breakfast was included and was basic, but we did have eggs, toast and fruit (didn't have to pay extra). No complaints whatsoever, as this hotel is centrally located and a great value! More

Rooms are large and being the old Indian embassy a bit quirky in their layout and quite well appointed. Breakfast was included but if you wanted more than a piece of fruit and a cup of tea you had to pay extra. Location was okay about a ten minute walk from the old town centre. More

The Day Inn might have been nice at one time, but now it is just old and tired. My room had water stains on two walls, there are no reading lights by the bed and the bathroom floor floods when even taking a careful shower. The bamboo furniture is well used and abused. I see no charm here ! More

This place is a block and a half up the street from the Nam Phou fountain (walking away from the Mekong. It is behind the big, impersonal Lao Plaza Hotel.) The room have been renovated. The one I was in had a bath tub and a separate shower with a rain nozzle. The room also has a balcony that overlooks a patch of grass and mango trees. Restful. There is no swimming pool, but for Thai Baht 400 it is possible to use the pool at the Lao Plaza hotel... More
