This monstrous Soviet monolith gets a pretty bad press from some reviewers, but we stayed there a week ago and found it perfectly acceptable. Huge structure,Good location for tourists ,but in the whole hotel the central Air conditioning was very poor & the Television doesn't work in many rooms, so thorough renovation is required. It should be one's last choice at Tashkent. More
