The hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet, it takes just 10 min to get to the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and other sites. Rooms are very-very small but have everything you need to stay for couple of days: AC, TV-set, clean sheets, free WiFi. Breackfast is included in the room fee, they serve eggs, fresh bread, vegetables, watermelons,... More

Small, cramped and noisy. On the first day our room had a view of the septic tank, and the triple room was so small it had no room to even put one suitcase on the floor, let alone 3. I had to do gymnastic contortions in order to reach my bed. No table/chair or mirror due to the size. The... More

Meddusa hotel is a good hotel, with good location, next the main monument (topkapi, hagyasofia, and blue mosque) the tram is just near in sultanahmet avenue. The breakfast is good with coffee milk, tea, cheese, eggs, butter, varied the rooms are small but clean also the bathroom, ideal for the tourist with small budget More

It was like something out of a film. Luckily we only had to spend a night there after a mix up with booking our original hotel (The Modern Sultan, much, much better) The room is a joke, measures about 2 meters by 3 metres, with dilapidated furniture and a general grubby appearance. And the bathroom? It was so small I... More

People are so friendly and they offered the best service. Also it came to my attention that the staff were... More

We spent one night at this hotel and fled. We arrived on a late flight into Istanbul and arrived at the hotel after midnight and extremely tired. The staff was friendly but the room was hell. Instead of a window, we for nd a large steel firedoor behind a curtain. The toilet wasn't bolted down to the floor, so the... More

To premise this review I would like to say that my friend and I have extensively travelled the world on a right budget being early twenty year old students but even for the low price and good location we won't be back. As other reviewers have said the staff don't really speak English which although isn't their fault it is... More
