We recently stayed at the Osmanhan for four days and highly recommend it. The location is perfect for visiting any of the historic and cultural sites in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, the rooms are modern and comfortable, the breakfasts on the rooftop terrace are great, and the people that work at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Small hotel on a safe street, 5 min walk to the main historical sites. All staff members are polite and willing to help. All of them speaks good english. Rooftop breakfast is a nice addition. For first timers I would advise airport transfer, but if on budget you can get there by subway and tram from Atatürk airport for 4TYL.... More

We have just returned from our second visit and are already planning the next. This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The beds are comfortable with very good pillows. There is a very wide choice for breakfast including yoghurt and a variety of lovely fresh fruit. The breakfast room is on the top floor with tables inside and... More

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Osmanhan during our honeymoon. There was nothing to fault: our room, rooftop breakfast, location and service were all top notch. This place is worth every penny, friendly and ever helpful Fatih made it all the more special. More

The Osmanhan is the complete package: Central location, safe street, well appointed spotless small rooms with free tea/coffee/water, free wifi, beautiful bathrooms with a luxurious rainshower, excellent water pressure, towel heater. There is some minimal noise at night given its central location, but there was significantly less noise than other centrally located hotels, many of which seem to be built... More

This is just to confirm everything that has been said already. Excellent location near all the historic sites with the tram connecting to other parts of Istanbul 10 minutes away. Sultanahmet is a tourist honey trap so make sure to go and visit other parts and see Turks walking down the streets! Also take a stroll in the area the... More

Best hotel. Super friendly staff. Clean with everything you need. Manager, Fatih Ozer must get a prize for his friendlyness and help (all in fluent English). 5min to most sites by foot, 2min to taxi and the best restaurants 100meters away. Have your breakfast with a view, will go back for sure! Owner on site to make sure visitors stay... More

We were received with a warm welcome on arrival by Fatih. All the staff are extremely friendly, professional and always helpful. All the properties in this part of town are oddly-shaped to fit the hilly terrain, so the rooms follow this irregular pattern as well. Although our room wasn't large, it was adequate and the bed was very comfortable. The... More

I spent three nights at the Osman Han and could hardly fault it in any way - clean, well decorated and well equipped rooms, spacious shower cubicle with an excellent power shower, lovely breakfasts, beautiful view from the roof terrace, and very friendly helpful staff. The only problem was the noise at night - one of the downsides of a... More

We booked the cheapest room in the ground floor. It was small but clean, sufficient for a couple needing a place to sleep for a few days while exploring Istanbul. The hotel was very centrally located, a few minutes walk to the Topkapi Palace, Hage Sophia, and Blue Mosque. There is a bazaar 2 blocks away. I would give this... More
