As long as you don't mind steep stairs - this hotel is ideal Istanbul! Great value, excellent location and sublime traditional turkish breakfast in a beautiful quiet courtyard. Really charming and not a whiff of generic-hotel syndrome. Be prepared to hear the call to prayers through the day and night as its located between two if Istanbul's largest mosques.

We stayed here for three nights. Great location with a 5 minute walk to major old city sights. Great hotel. Lovely breakfast, bar. Climb up to the top to the rooftop for sunrise / sunset. Also recommend the restaurant right across the street - Kosk.
