We stayed here for 3 nights recently. We have no complaints. The hotel is clean, efficient, modern and the staff is professional and courteous. It's in a great location- a short walk to pubs, restaurants and activities. A very short walk to the Grand Bazaar. The shower is excellent- best hotel shower I've ever experienced. You will be drenched like... More

The hotel was well located, and handy to shops and money-changers. Our room (No. 102) was of a reasonable size, although the bathroom was smallish and a bit of a squeeze. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Sadly, there were no views from our window – all we could see was the hoarding of the side of... More

The front desk staff are extremely unfriendly and bordering on downright rude. My wife left her key in the room and I was out with friends so she requested an extra key. Unfortunately instead of asking for ID verification, the front desk staff gave her a lecture on how she shouldn't leave her key in the room! Earlier we had... More

I have spent a week in this hotel and I would like to recommend it very earnestly. It's splendidly situated, just in front of the Istambul tramway; is very comfortable, very well climatized, the buffet breakfast is fresh and varied, and the staff friendly and helpful. Not to mention the shower and the bathroom, gorgeous. I was also helped to... More

Had a very nice stay recently at the Kent Hotel Istanbul. The room I had was clean, modern and tasteful, although even for winter it got very stuffy. Excellent granite bathroom (even the shower, which had a delightful rainforest head). The area is quiet and the Laleli-Uiversite tram stop was right around the corner (5-10 mins to historic center sites... More

Rooms were clean and comfortable; buffet breakfast was the best of our entire trip through Turkey. Noise factor was a problem around 6 am - next to a mosque! Otherwise, great location; tram stop right in front of hotel. Staff very friendly but short on English understanding. More

I have heard that the hotel scene in Istanbul can be rather iffy. A friend who works as an Istanbul tour guide recommended this hotel to me and I have had a great stay (two nights, total). The location couldn't be better--it is right by a tram stop (more reliable, less risky than local taxis, according to my tour guide... More

The location alone made this hotel a great choice - it's right near a tram stop, a short walk from the Grand Bazaar and even within walking distance of the Blue Mosque (took us about 20 minutes to walk there). The staff were very friendly and helpful, even moving us to a better room halfway through our stay (as they'd... More

Almost everything about this hotel was perfect. Location almost opposite the grand Bazaar, and a short interesting walk (maybe a mile, or a mile and a half) to the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi. The staff were so friendly and eager to please. And the Breakfast was great. my only complaint is that the Internet was only working on the first... More
