Formerly a part of the Kibbutz Hotel Chain, the Ma'ale Hachamisha Hotel has been taken over by the Orchid Chain which runs several hotels in Israeli resorts. We stayed for three nights as part of a large group, full board. The room was large and clean with a flat screen TV. The staff cleaned the room daily plus fresh towers... More

We stayed in this hotel for one Shabat with family. The room was basic but nice, big enough, the bed was comfortable. The problem was with the cleanliness. There was hair on the towels- kind of gross- and a few stains on the sheets. We didn't like that at all but that was only a few minutes before Shabat so... More

The room was pretty clean and relatively spacious. The beds were comfortable and the furniture and equipment around were proper maintenance. Flow of water in the bath was too many strong, I usually like water flowing strong but there just had to download the power of water hooo. Room service was excellent. We asked for towels and a few minutes... More

We spent there an afternoon in their dining room havig a buffet lunch. A large variety of items which were quite good. However with regard to the two items that should be the heart of the meal, the main course meats, the cook totally spoiled them -almost uneatable. Overpriced No service during dining. No waiter was around to clear finished... More

Our school group stayed here for 5 nights in October. Rooms were good, but the fridge wasn't great - every time it opened it leaked all over the floor.... But the food was very good, the rooms pleasant and clean and the hotel was very accomodating. The pool facilities were also very nice :) Only gripe would be on our... More

Stayed here for a conference. The pool was great and gym well stocked. The room was spacious but had dirty walls. The bedding consisted of a really thin duvet and pillow, the blankets available were stained. Room had 2 twin beds, flat screen telly, large kettle, desk, wardrobe and a kids bed. There was also a chair which was heavily... More

We got there as part of a group - a Weekend vacation The room was spacious ( but Old furniture). we've had mountain view. The food was nices and generous . Good, except for one major thing: Low pressure in the shower ( Faint drip of water – 24/7…) rooms on the cenrtal building are the best!!

Not a hotel we chose as it came as the first of two in our pilgrimage with our church group to the Holy Land. Rooms clean and tidy, although nothing outstanding. Coffee making facilities, flat screen TV. Room perhaps a little "tired". Beds very comfortable. Bathroom adequate, again nothing outstanding. Good maid service. Free WiFi but only in the coffee... Overall it is a very beautiful hotel. The rooms were spatious and comfortable, they were quite clean, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. This place had some of the best food I ate on my entire Israel trip, especially the dinner. If I ever go back to Israel, I will definitely return for the dinner alone, even... More
