I spent three nights in this hotel at 220 US$/night. A complete ripoff. A small, poky room, very noisy airconditioning and minibar (finally i pulled the plug on the minibar to shut it up). Alongside the lift, which meant that every time it stopped at my floor I heard the annoying "ping". The staff are typically Israeli, ie: "pasotas" to... More

As soon as you step into the hotel is like being back in the early 90's, it is tired. The staff is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful so the check-in process is painful. We reserved and paid a room with seaview but got a side view of the street and sea, so technically is had a seaview but not what your... More

This hotel has a nice position on the seafront but the rooms are tired. There is free wifi through out which is good except it is nor reliable and doesn't work in all rooms. The international calls don't work from all rooms either. I ended up sitting in reception to keep up to date with em and yes I did... More

This was my second stay at the Orchid - six nights for a journalistic assignment business trip. It was fully booked, meaning I couldn't upgrade to a room in the newer tower nearer the sea. However, my "single room" in the other one still had a very comfortable king size bed, a sea view, fast internet, free international phone calls,... More

Do not book in this hotel as they do not guarantee your room, inspite of asking for your credit card number. I have booked two rooms for my colleague and I and received a written confirmation. Once we arrive tonight, they told us the hotel was full and sent us to another hotel, very bad, but almost the same price... More

What I loved about this hotel: ~amazing location across from beach - gorgeous views from our rooms ~WIFI worked excellent throught hotel (and was free) ~even though breakfast wasn't included, had breakfast in the lobby which was delicious and very reasonable ~comfortable beds, clean... I had a perfect week in Tel Aviv Im never one to review a hotel or rest. but I was very impressed with the service and my over all experience. After a long 10 hour flight from NY the last thing I wanted to do was wait for my room to be ready. They made the check in so quick... More

We first went to this hotel in December 2011 on our way back from Eilat for a night. We were so happy with it (we booked two adjoining rooms) that we decided to return with another family. We should have known that the stay was going to be turbulent as soon as we arrived. We checked in very late on... More

The hotel was in a good position along the promenade and the free bicycles were great although quite old, the rooms were reasonably clean a bit hit and miss at times, had to ask for fresh towels. The bed was large and comfortable the linnen clean but the quilt was too small for the bed and the pillow cases didn't... More

Just spent 4 nights at this hotel in two different rooms so I'll give you the pros and cons. One room was a standard room with two twins (10th floor) and one was a suite (11th floor) with a king bed. Pros: 1) free calls to USA. I was jet lagged and it was great to call home when I... More
