Due to a miscommunication with another hotel I had to find a place to stay in the weekend of may 4 in tel aviv. It had to be around dizzengoff center because my family stayed in an apartment in that area.. It was the only place I could find and on the website the rooms didn't look that bad, so... More

Having read several of the previous reviews I was somewhat hesitant when booking. The price however and location were attractive so i decided to book it. The location on Dizengoff St is fantastic, walking distance to the beach was within 15 mins, right across from Dizengoff Center where you can buy freshly prepared food & cake on Friday. it's less... We are from New Zealand. After reading a few mixed reviews I mistakenly booked into this *Hotel* for three nights ( it could not be that bad could it!!!). On arrival the reception area was disgusting with rubbish everywhere. We were given the keys to the room so when we opened the door the room had not been made up.... More

The hotel is in an excellent location for all of Tel Aviv's shopping and night life. There are many restaurants around the area. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but i found the people friendly and wanting to help you as much as possible. It is run as a family business which makes it different from having the corprate image when... More

I stayed here for one night with a friend during a 10 day trip to Israel. We wanted to party in Tel Aviv and needed a cheap base to stay. This hotel is clean, and our room was spacious. The hotel reception were not too friendly....but were helpful if we asked. There was free WiFi which was a positive. The... More

We had a 5am flight so we stayed here to have a few hours to crash. Avoid this place. It's dirty and gross. There are unidentifiable brown smears on the walls and the bathrooms are not cleaned very well. Also, they made us pay cash and ripped us off on the taxi to the airport.

My stay at the Ophir went quite well. The service was wonderful and the location was ideal for my travels in the city. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs and were very friendly. I had injured my leg earlier but I had to stay in Tel Aviv for the day. The rates were very reasonable... More

This has been the only hotel where construction can continue in a clients room when the client is in. All construction material was left in the room overnight. It was equivalent to sleeping in a dungeon. The owners were least bothered. On 2 nights I even lacked a bathroom to use and had to go outside the hotel in the... More

Absolutely dreadful hotel. First night they put me in Room 105 - I was shocked - dirty and spartan, no where to put anything - only two coat hangers hanging on lampshade. Overlooked alot of scrap. A prison room would be better. Have travelled in India many times and have not had rooms less inviting. Noise at night from lobby... More

I booked this hotel quite a long time back - basing my decision on 2 main things. The first was the location in relation to Dizengoff - the second was that it offered breakfast and I wanted at least one Israeli hotel breakfast on this visit. I am probably to blame for not checking more recent reviews - I just... More
