The internet is not good and expensive. The location is a bit ordinary. The breakfast buffet is not up to the standard you would expect from a hotel of this class. Everything works otherwise. Saved by the very friendly and helpful front desk. More

American University of Beirut is in this district so there are maybe 40-50 pubs around; full of university people. You need to consider an awful traffic if you are going to the new downtown. This hotel is in the Al-Hamra district, which has average shopping but not the best by any means in Beirut. I would actually recommend staying more on the Corniche rather than an Al-Hamra.
