After all the preceding reviews, I was in some trepidation to discover I would be staying at this hotel, as part of a four day conference. So much so that I even asked the organizers if there was an alternative hotel, but there's nothing really in the same vicinity. That brings me to the location: this isn't Damascus - that's... More

We have spent only one night at this hotel during our round trip tour in Syria. This hotel was far from a high standard and I think it is good 3 star. Rooms are basic, breakfast was standart ( no water and no place to buy also ! ), not many choices. Location was also not good as 300 minutes... More

This hotel is convinient located for those who play golf or have business at the exhibition center or at the airport (as I did). The building is impressive, but the service is absolutely not 5 star. My biggest complaint is that the most of the staff at the front desk speaks very poor English. At one occation did I call... More

We stayed one night at this Hotel, which was far superior to the orthers on the VJV Tour. As it was part of a chain, with others at all of our destinations, it might have been more acceptable to use those to obtain acceptable food. This hotel was far from full and of a high standard More

we stayed first at Sheraton Damascus, which is for Syrian standard very good. The reception was not very gentle but very polite. Other stuff were polite as well! For the last day we sought it was an good idea to move to Cham Ebla near the airport but it was a disaster. REALLY. some examples: arriving at the entrance the... More

We had to go there because my husband's conference was held in it. It is in remote place, 30 minutes by bus from city center, and nothing near it but the International Fair. There was supposed to be a shuttle bus to the Center, but it was mostly occupied by staff moving between corporate hotels. Otherwise, no taxis are available... More

The hotel itself deserves its 5 stars, but the staff deserves a 0 star rate, they are incompetent and unprofessionnal. They kept saying "we are sorry but...". The restaurant was closed and we had diner in the piano bar at 8 pm. We were the only customers and the room was already full of smoke. The staff must have been... More

We booked the Carlton in Damscus but our tour operator sent us to the Ebla Cham. This hotel is terrible! Firstly it's not even in Damascus, but near the airport and it takes more than half an hour to get to the city! The first dinner we had there caused me lots of heath issues, possibily because of an open... More

This is a stunning resort hotel about 30 mins from downtown Damascus, on the airport road. There is a free shuttle bus between Ebla Sham hotel and Sham Palace hotel in Salhiyyeh (central Damascus) around once every two hours. The shuttle times are posted at Reception and they will give you a timetable if you ask for one. The hotel... More
