Like most accommodation in Moresby, the Lamana is expensive, however, the hotel is secure, offers a good gym and has a restaurant with diverse choices on offer that should satisfy most tastes. The Lamana offers a secure pick up and drop off service from Jackson Airport which is important in Moresby.

Lamana Hotel is one of the better places in POM, even though there is a lot of entertainment happening in and around the Hotel. Try the barber one of the few places in POM with a good massage for a reasonable price.

What a terrific hotel. Just don't stay in room 19, always check the aircon is working well before you commit to the room. Room 19's aircon just makes a lot of noise and blows hot air. Enjoyed my stay at the almanac although found everything in moresby expensive. All staff went out of their way.Restaurant and bar downstairs great. Would def stay again. Only negative is that moresby is def not for tourists.

The food is quite well priced, the indian buffett nights are especially good with high quality deserts. The staff are very friendly and the place has a overall nice atmosphere. Concierge are very helpful and friendly which is great to have. Sleep quality is pretty good. The place keeps a high degree of cleanliness. Defintely worth staying at Lamana.
