This is the best accommodation in Tonga! The first night we got there the security guard greeted us with a smile and helped us settle into our room, we were well informed of our room arrangements (breakfast and time reception opens next morning). Very professional. The Location was ideal, It's in the city but away from the busy noisy city... More

My partner and I recently visited Tonga for a romantic holiday. Though tonga is beautiful, we found the first half of our stay, up on the north west side of the island a bit inconvenient. Staying at the Lagoon Lodge, however, was absolutely perfect. If you want personal service and a place that's welcoming and comfortable and clean with fresh... More

Our whanau were greeted with a warm smile from the lovely receptionist 'Nipa' who was able to accomodate an extra 2 of us without too much fuss. This to us was a 'blessing' as this was our first trip to Tonga. We had our son (4yrs) with us, and he totally felt relaxed at this Lagoon Lodge. Our whanau stayed... More

I spent 3 wonderful days at the Lagoon Lodge last summer. When I got into this place, I was given a warm welcome by the staffs at the reception and shown in my room. The room provided a nice view of the lagoon. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities in it. There was free internet too.... More

When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely friendly receptionist and assistant (Lesieli and Nipa). Straightaway we felt welcome. We asked if we could be upgraded, we got a room with a huge balcony and great view of the lagoon. They told us that we had free Internet, and TV a bonus! The suites are basic, but were adequately... When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely friendly receptionist. Felt very welcome, more like we were visiting family than a hotel. We were also upgraded from a standard one bedroom to a 2 bedroom suite with a huge balcony and great view of the lagoon. Free Internet, free TV. The suites are basic, bugs though. I think it's... The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet location, located right next to the lagoon. We found the staff to be excellent, nothing was to much trouble, the hotel receptionist Lesieli was absolutely incredible arranged transport and cooked a great Aussie breakfast bacon, eggs, tomatoes, sausages, toast etc each morning of our stay as continental... I recently stayed at the lodge. It suited my needs, lay ed back and relatively quiet, with a good view of the Lagoon. The staff were friendly professional and helpful planning activities. The room was clean and tidy. The fittings and fixture's showed signs of wear. How ever a maintenance program was under way. The continental breakfast was fresh, extras were... More

My husband and I arrived in Nukualofa and stayed at another hotel which did not have cooking facilities. We spent a month here and needed a hotel with cooking facility. The staff really helped us with whatever we needed. We were the only ones staying so we had a great time. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (# 102)... More

Quite basic and a bit out of town. Lagoon Lodge is probably best for families. It faces on to the Lagoon - no swimming there though. Reasonably quiet (dogs, roosters and sometimes traffic are the potential problems on Tonga tapu) A bit expensive for what it offers. Generally we didn't find any middle upper range accommodation in Tonga Tapu that... More
