Location is superb, just next to the lake and close to the big golden tower.Better prepare an adaptor with you as I've been waiting for an adaptor for more than 2 days and eventually got a funny one which did not work. Try to go to the breakfast as early as possible as later the ambiance will be like a... More

Dear solo66 We thank you for writing us a review on Trip Advisor. When our hotel is running high occupancy, two restaurants are opened during breakfast hours. We are also planning to expand our existing restaurants in the near future, to meet ongoing additional capacity demands. We hope to welcome you again in the new future. Best Regards Saman Sarathchandra... More

We have stayed and eaten at Sedona many times. They have reasonably priced, clean, standard hotel rooms, a beautiful pool, excellent fitness room and spa, fabulous baked goods at their bakery, great Italian restaurant, and wonderful breakfast buffet. Service is excellent. In Yangon many of the better restaurants are in hotels and the Sedona restaurants have good food at a... More

After 2 weeks in northern Myanmar, the Sedona was a welcomed Oasis. The Sedona has a wonderful pool and tennis courts. There many restaurants in the hotel. All are reasonably good. But pricey too. A night club is located in the basement that attracts the lovely crowd. The rooms on the end are large with a sitting area. A TV... More

This was an ok hotel - not great just a bit ordinary. However, when we woke up after a very late check in, we found we had the most beautiful view of the lake. The hotel is also closer to the airport so for early departure it is ideal. Rooms are tired, a bit too Western style for me but... More

This is a pretty decent hotel in Yangon. The room I had was pretty modern and very clean. The hotel itself is Western and service is generally pretty good. The swimming pool is enormous and very comfortable, except for the 10pm closing time (which was a bit annoying when I arrived in Myanmar late one evening at the beginning of... More

I had the opportunity to stayed at Sedona (Yangon) for a couple of time during my visit between 2010 and 2011. I must say that I did not experience any discomfort during my stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many varieties. The pool was amazing. The services were pretty much the same as any other hotels. The room is... More

Finding an available room in Yangon is difficult now, with booms in tourism and business fueled by the recent political reforms. So, given the alternatives, staying heremay not be a worst-case scenario. It is a Western hotel--clean with decent food (breakfast buffet was plentiful; the Chinese and Italian restaurants in the hotel are quite good). That said, there are a... More

Sedona seems to specialize in placing hotels in cities where good Western hotels are difficult to find. This one is no exception; it’s somewhat of an Oasis in the middle of a backward country. Room was nice and clean, but not special by international standards. For our second night stay, the hotel informed us the Myanmar Government needed our room... More

Our stay in the Sedona Hotel was excellent. We had some of our most rewarding meetings there. The hotel has four international chefs (Indian, German, Chinese, Italian). The chefs and staff were very willing and ready to prepare interesting, varied and delicious meals. We had 3 meals a day in the hotel and they were all excellent. Everyone was happy,... More

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Yangon. The location is excellent. It is a quiet oasis that is convenient to the markets etc. The best part about this hotel is the staff. They are incredible in their attention to detail and trying to meet the quests needs. I liked my room very much. The view... More
