It's a service apartment style running by Malaysian (or Singaporean I'm not sure). The manager stay in 2nd floor of the building also. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. All kitchen are well-equipped also, with fridge, rice cooker, coffee maker and all kind of cooking apparatus and stove. It's definitely a nice place for long stay with family. The swimming... More

As the prices of hotels in Yangon have skyrocketed beyond imagination, paying USD200+ for a simple room no longer comes as a suprise to me. I have been to Yangon about 5 times, staying in different places everytime and yet, this hotel, despite only being slightly above average, is close to my heart because of the Malaysian and Singaporean food... Paying 300 USD a night for a Mini apartment (4 people - 2 bedrooms) is one thing, but then for this price offering only 2 breakfasts is another one ... Anyway, if the price wouldn't be that high, the hotel would be OK, nice pool and gym, good big breakfast buffet, friendly staff and everything clean and rather new. Still,... More

We were a group of five friends and this apartment housed us all comfortably. Service was helpful and friendly, apartment was clean and modern. The pool was a blessing after a hot day of sightseeing. Restaurant food was good and bar served cocktails. Only downside was the long taxi ride to see any sight downtown. This was because there were... More

We checked in here our last night (because there was a mix up at Trader's and we didn't have a room. The location is halfway between the center and the airport. The apartments are very spacious and clean. If you value space over chic - this is your place. The service is excellent as are the pool and business center.

Mi Casa is a Malaysian owned property in Yangon, however it is good if you have early morning departure as Yangon airport is only 20 mins away, as the location is north of downtown, close to Inya Lake but on a main road - in other words nothing to do close to the hotel, and you have to use taxis... Spacious room, well serviced. Good swimming pool, not over-crowded. Some 15 minutes by taxi from centre of Yangon but this made it quieter. Excellent restaurant with magnificent "all you can eat buffets" for c. US$20. Only problem was that breakfast only included for one person staying in the twin room but this was probably the fault of the Agent, Agoda.

When traveling to Myanmar, you are going to have to sacrifice some modern comforts like ATMs, western food chains, and closed sewers. Fortunately, MiCasa generally has a good idea of what western tourists look for in hotel rooms and has provided accordingly. The hotel is indeed quite a ways out of town. It's closer to the airport than to Shwe... More

In Yangon during busy high season period so accommodation at a premium. Hotel about midway between airport and the City but taxis cheap only a few dollars, around 30 mins in peak traffic. Only 15 minutes to airport for early morning flight. Rooms were spacious clean and had good fast ethernet connection. Good selection of foods for breakfast both western... More

Decent hotel, good for family vacations and self catering. Fairly pricey compared to other grander hotels around town and on the Lake. Small minimart and restaurant on site. Although taxis are inexpensive you will find the heavy traffic in and out of town tiresome after a few days. Probably better value and more competition closer to the centre of town.
