We stayed here for 3 nights on a 4 day trip to Myanmar after doing lots of research and in the end taking a friend's recommendation. Hotels in Yangon are surprisingly expensive and generally not good value compared to what you could get in other similar cities. We found Beautyland II to offer a decent room with a hearty breakfast... More

once you get over the initial shock of travelling in Myanmar (dirty, small, overpriced rooms, no advance booking in most cases, and a lack of reputable places with way too many travellers) this place will look great. the difference here is the friendly way of the staff. the Myanmar hospitality you have heard or read about before coming to the... we have stayed here more than once and the staff is very friendly and accommodating, BF is also good not very elaborating but fulfilling little over priced but thats the case with every place to stay in Yangon especially they also have a luggage storage place, a decent place to sleep with decent rooms( not too elaborated) and pretty amazing... I stayed here for 2 nights after moving out from the dirty and horrible Okinawa Hostel. I looked around most budget places in Yangon that day, and this was he only one I could find that was at least decent for the money. I had a room on the top floor with shared bathroom. The bathroom was ok, no really... More

I guess the quality of the hotel is pretty average. The midpriced rooms are damp and the hotel in general is overpriced, like most hotels in Myanmar. However, we got a room with shared bathroom on the roof of the hotel. the room was bright and airy and located next to the quarters where the staff was sleeping. Every morning... More

We had two rooms at the Beautyland II for three nights altogether - at the beginning and at the end of our wonderful Burma trip. The hotel is perfectly located on a rundown street on the edge of central Rangoon, close to the very sacred Sule Paya. Service was completely haphazard (they seemed to have no reservation for us when... More

I recently stayed in this hotel for one night. I checked in this hotel based on the recommendation made by hotel reservation counter at the Yangon airport arrival area. I actually didn’t reserve accommodation in Yangon in advance and it was the only available option available in the town. The quality of service at the hotel was not too good;... More

Hotels in Myanmar are sub standard compared to other places in Southeast Asia, and this hotel is a cut below the rest. It's overpriced, even for Burmese standards. There are better options in Yangon. We only spent a night here and did not care to go back, even though the staff was friendly (the great thing about Myanmar is that... More

I stayed here in 2010 for several nights and found it OK for $20, but this time around they were asking $30 for a dingy room (rooms haven't been maintained at all, they removed all the TVs and refrigerators from the rooms as well!) which I bargained down to $28. You could get a similar place in Cambodia or Laos... More

Quite expensive by Asian standards, but this being Yangon where every hotel sees the new found influx of tourists as walking banks, this hotel offers acceptable value by new-Yangon standards. A few years ago this hotel would have been $10, but now 30 to 40 dollars.
