On a quiet side street, this hotel is elegant (for Georgia) in a kind of old fashioned way. The lobby is large and elaborately decorated. The rooms are huge. The breakfast buffet is quite large with perfectly acceptable (if not inspired) food. HOWEVER the beds are big but, for a Westerner, not especially soft and the fitness room machines are... More

Upon arrival, the hotel seems quite nice with a mixture of classical European style furnishings, which seems a little over done. Once you enter into your room you will notice why. I requested a room change because my first room had an overpowering musty odor, the carpets were stained and the furniture just seemed dirty. The next room had less... More

As several other reviewers have said, the rooms at Vere Palace could use a bit of updating. The carpets are worn, the wallpaper is dated, and the furniture is a bit beaten up. But, the rooms are very spacious, spotless, and the bathrooms were extremely modern. Contrary to what others have said, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive, and... More

This hotel never deserved 4 star. The infrastructure of Hotel is very poor. Some of the rooms are very cold. WCs are very often out of usage... Especially employees in reception are very rude !!! I'll never accomodate in this hotel. More

Spent one night at Vere Palace Hotel on a recent business trip. The rooms need updating. Carpet is worn, and furniture breaking. The room was good sized and bathroom was very nice (but not as clean as it could have been).TV was too small for the room. Service left a bit to be desired. When traveling on business, it is... More

Having stayed at this hotel several times I was rather disappointed during my recent visit. I actually stayed in the same room as on my previous visit. The room was large with a separate lounge area. I was shocked that the bathroom fan was still (after a year) extremely noisy. The towels looked 'tired' and were not very efficient in... More

The Hotel itself has a lot of character, a pianist plays at night in the foyer, corridors ramble off in all directions with sculptures and odd decorations in niches at every turn. The problems are the unfriendly staff, polite but stern, and the rooms. The bathrooms are renovated, modern and comfortable. The bedrooms, well...think 70's movie set. Old shag carpet, stained... Very comfortable and cosy hotel. Nice decor, quite luxurious. Breakfast fairly good. Peaceful location in central Tbilisi but 30 min walk from the old town if that is where you want to focus your trip. Otherwise, good choice for staying in this lovely city. Bathroom incredible hot - too hot in fact and cannot adjust radiator. Some of the staff... More
