Detailed Reviews
I stayed in Benikea flower hotel for 14 nights in Nov 2015. My experience with it was more than good and I would definitely go there again.
Location:
Very good location on a main street, bus stop across the road , train station (cheongyangni) 8 minutes walk , this station is about 4-7 stations away from all the main stations in seoul , so with the great subway network in Seoul , you will be anywhere you want from the hotel in 40 mins maximum.
Rooms and Service :
rooms are very clean and beds are comfy , the size of the rooms is a bit small but not too small. if you can get one of the suites on the ground level there size is enormous like REALLY big. The reception is very helpful and willing to do anything to make your trip easier , they speak little English but communication can be done. you can change currency from the reception and remember to ask for an Umbrella if its rainy. The free wifi in all rooms is a very good thing too.
Around the hotel :
The best thing about Benikea is the surroundings, down the street (5 mins walk towards the train station ) North face , Adidas and Reebok stores plus tens of different clothes shop and at the train station one of the biggest department stores chains in Korea (LOTTE).
Unlimited food and coffee options around the hotel , best Korean BBQ ever is straight across the hotel ($9 all you can eat with great quality), 2 very god japanese food places beside the korean BBQ and a very good bakery for breakfast and snacks (but awful coffee)
on the same side of the hotel 2 mins walk towards the subway station is a a nice french bakery and coffee-shop (very Parisian design) you have to try this place , it has the best coffe ever , great bakeries , awesome dessert and great service , its definetly one of the best coffee-shops I have been to during my time in Seoul.
Across the road , 1 min walk walking the opposiyte way from the subway is a very nice pub called (SOERA) very friendly staff , great snacks, munchies and draft beer.

The staffs are so nice and polite. Also their English are quite fluent. If you asked ,they will suggest some locations for visit.
There is wifi at lobby but no wifi at room,I think that is not convenient.
For the hotel's location ,it is quite near the station.

I enjoyed our stay in Flower Hotel, though at first glance the view of the hotel from the outside is not so appealing but what makes me like the hotel is its location and considering the price you can have a big comfortable bed, with a big LCD tv and desktop comp in your own room. We stayed there during winter but the heater works so well so it makes us warm even at night. Specially what i love from the hotel is Mr.Kim i think he is the owner and Mr.Kim the son is very accommodating and very helpful to their guests and they could speak English so they can give you directions, help you get a cab and book a tour for you. Maybe what they can improve is their receptionist during mid-shift cant speak or understand English so what we would do is to wait for Mr. Kim to be back at the hotel if we have some request but over all its a good hotel considering its price.

All in all, it's a nice hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, not huge but not cramped (by Korean standards). One issue - cannot dial out with the room telephone to anywhere except landline telephones within Seoul. No long distance, no calls to mobile / cell phones, only local (area 02) calls. "But I have to call my mother in Canada!" "You can use a payphone outside," a 10-second walk away. Second issue - no internet in the room - wireless or otherwise. In this day and age, that's weird. I guess they don't want to bore holes in their beautiful newly renovated walls. Actually, it is quite nice. Best part - very, very helpful staff. Ordered food delivery, called an on-call taxi, got info from Korea Post for me, many things.

Rather basic hotel that provide clean room. There are no restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty of food nearby.
Location-wise is in the outskirt of Seoul city center. There are bus stop within 5 minutes walk that will give you access to the rest of Seoul.
Despite of rather old building, room is clean and not smelly. They provide heated floor, perfect for winter.
Perfect for backpacker.

I stayed 3 nights with my family. Just 5 min walk from a subway station. The beds are comfort and room is big, clean and warm. However, it is quite noisy at night as our room is facing the main road. There were bars and restaurants too.

Great little inn-hostel just a 10 minute walk from the Cheongnyangni metro station which will get you just about everywhere you need to go. This hotel is also about an 8000-1400 won taxi trip depending on traffic and if you take the more expensive black cab from Myeongdong shopping district and Changdeokgung Palace and where a lot of activities occur over Cheusok. We are a family of 4 with two kids, ages 7 and 10. The rooms are very clean with robes/slippers/fridge and complimentary water. There are some little bags of instant tea/coffee. The room we booked had 1 full bed and two twins. We didn't really use the front desk for any concierge service as we were able to look up most everything we needed online using the desktop that was in the room. The only downside to our room was that the bathroom has a bathtub with a handheld shower feature but no shower curtain which made showering a bit of a pain. For breakfast, we just took a walk down the street to Tous Les Jours bakery which had terrific lattes at 2800 won (the cheapest price in the city) and a great selection of baked goods mostly around 1000 won. The manager there speaks English and is very gracious about explaining what was inside many of the baked goods...some a fusion of Korean/French. You really can't beat this location (lots of great, inexpensive food nearby) and price unless you are able to find a vacation home rental.

Stayed in this hotel during my trip in May, price wise was average given that the location was not central and walking from Cheongnyangni station took close to 10min . From there, taking the metro to Dongdaemun or Myeongdong is around 4-5 stops away. The entrance of the hotel is facing the main street so it will not be easy to miss it. To get to Cheongnyangni station from Incheon Airport, just take the Airport bus 6002 and alight at the last terminal. Note: it will take more than 2hour with heavy traffic. Likewise, take the same bus from Cheongnyangni station back to Incheon airport. In the early morning when traffic is light, it only takes 1hour.
There are alot of convenient stores, local eateries, cafe nearby. The best was the Korean BBQ restaurant just opposite the hotel, 9000won for all you can eat. Most store owner do not speak English so you can just point at the food menu. And after you exit from the Cheongnyangni station, you can find Lotteria, McDonalds restaurant and Lotte Departmental store.
We booked a twin room, size was normal and around 23sqm. Toilet was clean n huge with bathtub. Room was cleaned n bottled drinks topped up daily. There isn't much facilities in this hotel other than the free wifi access. But do note that there when the limit has reached, you might not be able to access the wifi.
The counter staffs were friendly but few of them speaks fluent English. This is more of a business hotel catered to the locals and koreans on tour in Seoul. Throughout my stay, I only encountered a few foreign tourists staying in this hotel and around the vicinity.
Do not stay here if you are looking at a more convenient location for shopping, choose Myeongdong or Dongdaemun instead. The street is quiet at night with most of the shops closed but you are still able to find a few office worker high on alcohol walking along the street and singing loudly. It's quite hilarious.

On the plus side, the location of Flower Hotel is excellent. It's easy to access from Incheon airport by taking limousine bus #6002 to Cheongnyangni Station. The hotel is a short walk from the station. Cheongnyangni station is on subway Line 1, which is convenient for getting around central Seoul. There's a big Lotte shopping complex next to the station, including a super market, restaurants, cinema...
Our room at Flower Hotel was nice and clean, though smaller than it appeared in the pictures online. The hotel staff spoke enough English to communicate.
On the downside, the facilities were not so great. The toilet got clogged twice. Sometimes we could get hot water, and sometimes we couldn't. There was no wi-fi in the room, though LAN access worked without problems. I booked the hotel through Agoda, where it wasn't made clear whether we could get a non-smoking room. Luckily the room didn't smell of smoke, even though there was an ash tray in the room. The hotel is located on a busy street with a lot of traffic throughout the day and night. Our room got impossibly noisy if we kept the window open.
It was an okay stay, but I wouldn't stay there again due to the toilet / shower / noise issues.
