Our stay at Mena house was absolutely perfect. Waking up every morning to see the pyramids outside our window was awesome. We stayed 3 nights and it was a good base for Cairo and the pyramids. Our room was good, as were the breakfasts. Only 2 restaurants were open in the evenings but we had good (but not cheap) food in both the main restaurant and the Indian one. We also enjoyed an afternoon round the large outdoor pool. No free... Stayed overnight. The room was clean, well equipped and reasonably spacious. The only criticism would be that facing towards the road it was noisy when sat on the terrace, but the rooms facing the pyramids were much quieter and we had an excellent overnight rate so no complaints.
