Rooms desperately in need of an upgrade and at 80$ per night this hotel was outrageously overpriced. Breakfast room was simple and staff were very helpful. Rooms were not cleaned very well with bad staining on bath and washbasin. Beds were like sleeping on concrete! Good central location but rooms facing the main road were very noisy. More

The hotel location is perfect its near every resturant you can imagine, but the rooms are very bad, very old, dirty , noisey .. the funny part that you might hear water poping up in the bathroom while sleeping ! the food in Egypt in general is not that tasty and its really bad. but the staff is helpfull and... I travel extensively and this is probably a one star hotel and therefore the there is no point in talking about the quality and service. I needed to be nearer the city but better to sit in a traffic jam for a hour and be away from the city if this is the quality of hotels in the city. I... More

This is probably the most over-valued 3 star I've ever seen. Rooms are terrible, food is bland and staff is rude and not very caring about the needs of guests. Also on one of the more noisy streets. Definitely not staying here again. More

This is actually a 2 star hotel for a 4 star price. Rooms are dirty and carpets stinks. Fittings are falling apart. Most staff can't speak english. The guy on the reception did not have any manners - don't even wants to say thanks after the paying the bill and checkout. They have a severe shortage of towels. 2 towels... More

I was in this hotel for 2 night's. The hotel it self was'nt that spectacular. The rooms were fine but really nothing special. Infact, not really clean aswell. The breakfast was so-so. If you ask me it's more a hotel for locals (and so....a local breakfast). It's a 25 min. walk to city centre. You can book a tour to... More

We spent the first 3 days of our trip to Egypt at the Atlas Zamalek, which is situated on a noisy junction with a dual carriageway in front and an adjacent busy side street. There is no parking available outside. The hotel has seen better days and the facilities were limited. Some of the fittings were falling off the wall,... More
