Stayed at China Gardens (hotel side) first week in November 2011. I was in Nairobi for a meeting at the UN Centre, Gigiri. Very convenient and right across the the UN complex. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the main gate. It is not a 5star hotel BUT, the bed was comfortable, room was clean, water VERY hot... More

Pros - it is front of UNON, relatively clean, ok if only staying for a few days and you don't care about the quality of where you stay. Cons - Management is unprofessional, no flexibility, rooms without frills, internet connection only works sometimes, hotel rooms are a rip off and noisy. Apartments are very hard to book (months in advance)... More
