I recently traveled to Kenya with 5 friends from university to complete a teaching placement for a month. We stayed in the lodge for our first week in Kenya and could not have had a nicer stay. Trevor and Hannah made us feel very welcome from the beginning and made extra efforts to make us feel at home. We had... More

We traveled for our 11 day Kenya to Tanzania safari with my family, we loved all the arrangements made by one Thomas Didige of Affable Tours and Safaris, he recommended this lodge, I must say it was exactly what we were expecting, friendly staff, very nice food. I would recommend it to anyone any-day.

We appreciate our customers reviews and comment and it is nice to be attracting support from tour operators. Their opinion is valued because they have such experience of other hotels and safari operators in the area. More

We travelled for 3 weeks in Tanzania and Kenya last year with our twin boys at the age of 3. We generally stayed at 3-4 star hotels but Kikuyu Lodge was our favourite of all the places we stayed. The reason we liked it so much was the friendliness and helpfulness of Trevor and Hannah who both made us feel... More

Kikuyu - home away from home! Myself and two friends are on a 8month scooter trip, all the way from Cape Town to Dublin. Two and a half months into our trip we stayed at Kikuyu lodge and it felt like we were visiting old friends. Thank you for the great accommodation and food, I definitely recommend Kikuyu lodge. Hope... More

We stayed for several nights and used the Lodge as a base. We were extremely well looked after as a pensioner couple looking for both rest and excursions. Trevor arranged what ever transport was needed and sorted out any difficulties. Hannah cooked great meals, both local and international and covered all other housekeeping arrangements. This is more like sharing someone's... More

It is always a pleasure to meet guests and find out about their particular interest. Laurie and his wife were well travelled in Africa and their interest in bird watching is shared by some of our contacts here in Nairobi. It was nice for us that they had good safaris around the country but also that they found so many... More

I am nearing the end of a 3-week stay at the Kikuyu Lodge, and this is the second time that I have stayed here. I traveled here with a small missions team (World Impact Network) on both occaisions, and I want to say that Trevor and his staff (particularly Hannah) go out of their way to make your stay pleasant... We were on a two week self drive safari. Trevor's contacts in sorting a 4X4, his local knowledge, and willingness to help, with everything from loaning us spare fuel cans, tools, and his personal Sat' Nav', to advice on routes, made our holiday in Kenya the best to date. Staying at the Kikuyu Lodge Hotel is not the sterile, insulating... More

My family and friends (8 people in total) stayed in Kikuyu Lodge for 1 night after our arrival in Nairobi and before departing for Safari. We love the room, garden, food, and everything at the Lodge! The only setback is that the shower in our room has very small water flow but anyway we do not need a waterfall:)

Our family of two adults and two teenaged children stayed for two nights en route to Naivasha and Nakuru, for which Kikuyu lodge is ideally situated.
