We spent three nights at Muthaiga - and we were the only guests. In other words, we had all the extremely friendly staff and Elisabetta (the manager) for ourselves - frankly speaking, those were probably the four most luxerious days in our lifes :-) We stayed in the Berkerly Safari Villa - just for the fun of it: you should... My husband and I were very fortunate to be given a unique opportunity to stay at Black Leopard camp. A magical experience to be able to camp in sheer luxury, enjoy delicious food and to witness the most amazing landscape with wildlife in abundance we thought too good to be true! Our tent/villa named Berkley Cole was spacious and most... More

This was the second time that I stayed at the Muthaiga Safari Camp/Black Leopard Camp (www.muthaigasafaricamp.it) between 2010 and 2012. The first time that I stayed at the Camp, I was travelling with my partner. We had a truly amazing experience. As we always like to return to the same place (there is not need to change if loved It),... More

I traveled with my 12 year old daughter and two friends. We loved the tranquil property and the fact we were outside the Maasai Mara on our own private land, but within easy travel distance of the Maasai Mara proper. The staff was amazing and saw to our every need. We are vegetarians, and the chefs created the most delectable... More

This was our second trip to Kenya but first with our kids. We decide that the highlight of the trip from the 24th to 27th Dec would be the final few days over Christmas at the Masai Mara. So I read several reviews on the trip advisor and decided on the Muthaiga Camp. Unfortunately this choice was to prove a... More

It is unfortunate that these clients were disappointed with the outstanding level of service provided at Muthaiga Safari Camp. No amount of effort by the staff or managers could have satisfied them. These clients have made many false accusations which are addressed below: 1. Clients did not advise us of any dietary requirements when asked prior to their arrival. After... More

It was our first visit to Africa and it couldn't have started at a better hotel. From the ease of booking on the website with the wonderful photos to Muthaiga, the camp was even better in reality. We had booked a luxury tent as it has the views. We got there in the dark (great welcome from Francis) and the... More

All staff are extremely well informed and pass on a wealth of information. It is very apparent that all owners and staff are passionate about their work and the wildlife. Thanks for a great stay!

Every detail of our stay was outstanding....accommodations, surroundings, staff, meals, service, vehicle, safaris, surprises, and the incredible abundance & varieties of wildlife.
