I stayed in a discount-room on the 3rd floor and - after some negative reviews here on tripadvisor - I was surprised about the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. This is a cheap hotel considering its loaction right next to the drum tower and only 15 minutes away on foot from the forbidden city. There's only one good thing about this hotel -- it's location. Other than that, stay as far away as possible. Horrible smells, peeling paint, mold and water stains everywhere. This hotel is a ok hotel but not comparable to other three stars hotels. It felt like staying at a hostel. The breakfast is very minimal and felt very cheap.
