This hotel was a great Chinese experience. Rooms around a courtyard were similar to the historic mansions of families or officials. The hotel staff were very pleasant, but didn't speak much English. Typical Beijingese SIHE House, very clean and quite. Hotel people are very hospital and nice, like staying at home! When there is sunshine, it is fantastic to sit in the yard, reading books by drinking some tea. It is my favorite hotel in Beijing.
