We stayed in East Apartment for 2 weeks. Private estate with an exercise area at garden. Great location. It was about 5-8 minutes walk to a nearby shopping complex, where you could find Zara, Mango, Columbia, Macdonalds, Pizza Huts, Breadtalk, foodcourt, supermarket, cinema etc. Next to the shopping complex, is the subway (shuangjin, "2 wells"). However, for first-timer, it is... More

First of all, I would like to discuss the positive aspects of East Apartments. The location is the best feature, with an easy walk to the local subway and close proximity to the CBD it was unparalleled. The rooms are also nice, with modern furniture and almost comfortable beds. The room experience, however, relies on luck. The first room I... More

I love the location and the convienience to dining, shopping and the Subway off Line 10 Shuangjing Station. The place was nice and big with lots of room so we could relax. There was even access to a pool and spa with a Sauna, although one had to walk a bit to go there (bring your own towels). The staff... More

Start with the positives. I love the area, it's not really good for tourists, but for someone like me that's been here for years, that's a good thing. It's in an upscale neighborhood and the rooms are quite big. Transportation is convenient. The customer relations person (Sev) is quite good, and it's nice to talk to a native speaker for... More

Our apartment had the lowest end Ikea furniture - beds like sleeping on the floor. Shower in main part of apartment didn't drain - had to take a shower quickly so drain wouldn't overflow. Shower in master bedroom was hanging by a screw - took days before it was fixed. Rented phones, ran out of minutes - didn't tell you... More

We spent 8 days in the East Apts earlier this month. We had two 3-bedroom apartments for my friends and their families. It was a very good experience, and the location is as good as any in Bejing, where it takes forever to get around no matter where you are. A few tips might make settling in easier for other... More

We recently spent about two weeks in two apartments and found it family friendly - our biggest criteria. We were four adults and four kids. We were looking for a location close to Central Beijing so two of the kids could go to a Chinese language camp. East Apartments worked well for us on this level. A bonus was that... More

I stayed for 28 days at East Apartments. The mgr was great, an American that could help someone new to Beijing. Maid service everyday. Kitchen ok and even better when I requested better pans. It is not the Hilton, but is comfortable and quiet.
